Notifedia.com, PAREPARE — Kepala Kantor Bea Cukai Parepare, Dawny Marbagio, menegaskan bahwa produksi rokok di Kabupaten Soppeng berada dalam pengawasan pihaknya. Hal itu ia sampaikan saat menghadiri pemusnahan barang bukti di Polres Parepare, Rabu, (20/8/25).
Dawny menekankan bahwa pihak Bea Cukai tidak akan memberi ruang bagi penyalahgunaan pita cukai.
“Memang di Soppeng ada produsen rokok yang berada di bawah pengawasan kami. Kalau ada penyalahgunaan pita cukai, tentu akan langsung kami tindak. Silakan sampaikan informasi ke kami, pasti akan segera kami tindaklanjuti,” ujar Dawny di hadapan awak media.
Lebih jauh, ia menjelaskan mekanisme penindakan apabila ditemukan pelanggaran. Menurutnya, Bea Cukai memiliki prosedur yang jelas mulai dari penyitaan barang bukti hingga opsi penyelesaian hukum.
“Biasanya bentuk tindakannya berupa penyitaan barang bukti, kemudian dilanjutkan penyelidikan dan penyidikan. Kalau terbukti ada pelanggaran, kami tindaklanjuti. Dalam sistem kami ada yang namanya ultimum remedium, yaitu opsi membayar denda administrasi tiga kali nilai cukai. Kalau tidak bisa membayar, maka dikenakan sanksi pidana,” tegasnya.
Terkait wilayah Parepare dan sekitarnya, Dawny tidak menutup mata terhadap potensi peredaran rokok ilegal. Ia menyebut kerawanan terbesar justru berasal dari luar daerah.
“Memang semua wilayah ada kerawanannya, khususnya dari wilayah luar Parepare, misalnya masuk dari Pulau Jawa dan sebagainya. Kalau ada, kami langsung tindaklanjuti dengan operasi lapangan maupun operasi intelijen. Jadi tidak kami biarkan. Tentu juga bergantung pada SDM yang kami miliki,” jelasnya.
Selain menyoroti isu rokok, Dawny juga menyinggung dukungan Bea Cukai Parepare dalam penanganan kasus narkoba skala besar yang melibatkan Bareskrim Polri. Salah satunya terkait pengungkapan sabu seberat 80 kilogram beberapa waktu lalu.
“Kalau kasus sabu 80 kilo kemarin, itu sebenarnya tindak lanjut dari Bareskrim. Kami hanya memberikan dukungan di lapangan, koordinasi dilakukan oleh wilayah Makassar. Jadi kami tidak terlalu terlibat langsung, hanya supporting saja,” ujarnya.
Menutup keterangannya, Dawny menegaskan bahwa Bea Cukai Parepare berkomitmen memperkuat pengawasan, baik terhadap industri hasil tembakau maupun potensi penyelundupan barang berbahaya lintas wilayah.
“Intinya, semua yang berpotensi melanggar aturan akan kami tindaklanjuti sesuai kewenangan. Kami tidak ingin negara dirugikan,” pungkasnya.
