Dalam sambutannya, Tasming Hamid menegaskan bahwa keberadaan organisasi seperti Dekranasda, Pokja Bunda PAUD, Bunda Literasi, maupun Tim Pembina Posyandu sangat penting dalam membangun kualitas sumber daya manusia sekaligus mendorong kesejahteraan masyarakat.
“Dekranasda adalah organisasi nirlaba yang berperan penting dalam memajukan dan melestarikan industri kerajinan serta produk UMKM. Karena itu, pengukuhan bersama ini merupakan langkah awal yang baik dalam membangun sinergitas seluruh elemen, khususnya kaum ibu, agar bisa menumbuhkan semangat dalam mendukung pembangunan daerah,” ungkap Tasming Hamid.
Mantan legislator dua periode itu menambahkan, sinergi antara organisasi perempuan di tingkat kota hingga kecamatan dan kelurahan harus terus berkelanjutan. Menurutnya, kerja bersama ini akan berkontribusi besar dalam mencerdaskan masyarakat melalui program strategis, sekaligus mendukung percepatan penurunan angka stunting serta peningkatan kesejahteraan rumah tangga.
Lebih jauh, Tasming Hamid juga mengajak seluruh pengurus yang baru dikukuhkan untuk berperan aktif dalam meningkatkan budaya literasi, baik di kalangan pelajar maupun masyarakat umum. Selain itu, ia menekankan pentingnya menggerakkan masyarakat untuk rutin membawa anak-anak ke posyandu demi memastikan tumbuh kembang anak terpantau dengan baik.
“Literasi harus kita maknai lebih luas, tidak hanya sebatas baca-tulis, tapi juga bagaimana mengembangkan ilmu pengetahuan menjadi karya-karya yang bernilai ekonomi. Saya berharap para camat dan lurah mampu mengembangkan potensi masyarakat di wilayahnya, sementara Bunda PAUD kecamatan bisa menjadi motor gerakan sadar literasi, sekaligus merumuskan program yang efektif untuk meningkatkan minat literasi anak-anak,” tegas Tasming.
Tasming menutup sambutannya dengan menegaskan komitmennya menjadikan organisasi perempuan sebagai mitra strategis pemerintah dalam mendorong peningkatan kualitas pendidikan, kesehatan, dan kesejahteraan masyarakat di Kota Parepare.
