Notifedia.com, PAREPARE -Wali Kota Parepare, Tasming Hamid, bersama Wakil Wali Kota Hermanto, menerima kunjungan kerja rombongan PT Kawasan Industri Makassar (KIMA) dan PT Kliring Berjangka Indonesia (KBI) di Auditorium BJ Habibie, Rumah Jabatan Wali Kota Parepare, Jumat (23/5/2025).
Sebelum menerima kunjungan secara resmi, Tasming Hamid dan Hermanto terlebih dahulu mengajak rombongan meninjau langsung lokasi rencana pembangunan Kawasan Industri dan Pergudangan Parepare dan Sekitarnya (KIPAS) di Kelurahan Lapadde, Kecamatan Ujung. Di lokasi tersebut, Tasming mempresentasikan potensi dan kesiapan lahan yang akan dijadikan pusat pengembangan kawasan industri dan pergudangan.
Dalam sambutannya, Tasming Hamid menyampaikan bahwa semangat pembangunan Kota Parepare telah dimulai sejak tahun 1998 oleh para pendahulunya. Ia menegaskan, kini saatnya mewujudkan transformasi nyata melalui proyek strategis seperti KIPAS.
“Semangat pembangunan ini sudah dimulai sejak 27 tahun lalu. Kini, saatnya kita mewujudkan Kawasan Industri dan Pergudangan Parepare dan Sekitarnya (KIPAS) secara konkret. Ini adalah bukti keseriusan kami, yang diawali dengan kunjungan, penjajakan, hingga penandatanganan MoU. Kehadiran PT KIMA dan PT KBI hari ini adalah langkah lanjutan menuju realisasi itu,” kata Tasming.
Ia menambahkan bahwa kolaborasi ini bukan sekadar wacana, melainkan bentuk implementasi nyata yang bermuara pada pertumbuhan ekonomi dan kesejahteraan masyarakat.
“Kami tidak ingin lahan yang selama 27 tahun menjadi lahan tidur ini terbuang sia-sia. Melalui KIPAS, kami ingin menghadirkan kawasan industri dan pergudangan yang memberi manfaat nyata bagi masyarakat, serta membuka lapangan kerja baru,” tambahnya.
Sekadar diketahui, kunjungan ini dihadiri jajaran penting dari PT KIMA, antara lain Komisaris Sugianto Wahid, Direktur Operasi Alif Usman, Kepala Divisi Pengembangan Misbahuddin, Kepala Divisi BO Fathul, serta Kepala Divisi Pemasaran Suryadi.
Sementara dari PT KBI hadir Ketua Tim Bidang Pengawasan Sistem Resi Gudang dan Pasar Lelang Komoditas Bappebti, Diah Sandita Arisanti, serta Pengawas Perdagangan Ahli Muda Bappebti, Indra Setiawan. Turut serta pula Komisaris Independen KBI Egy Massadiah, Direktur Pengembangan Bisnis Saidu Solihin, Kepala Divisi Pengembangan Bisnis Gatot Eko Nugrahanto, Kepala Divisi KPBI Bagus Triajie N, Staf Divisi Operasional Prasetyo Susanto, dan Staf Dewan Komisaris Hidayat Syamsu.
