Notifedia, Parepare – Asisten 1 Pemerintah Kota Parepare, Dede Harirusataman, turut mewakili Penjabat (Pj) Wali Kota Parepare, Akbar Ali, dalam kegiatan pemantauan pelaksanaan Pemungutan Suara Ulang (PSU) di Tempat Pemungutan Suara (TPS) 002 Lumpue, Kecamatan Bacukiki Barat. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada Rabu, 21 Februari 2024.
Pemantauan ini dilakukan sebagai upaya untuk memastikan kelancaran dan keberlangsungan proses demokrasi di Kota Parepare.
Dalam pengawasan tersebut, Asisten 1 bersama dengan tim yang terkait aktif memantau setiap tahapan proses pemungutan suara ulang.
Pj Wali Kota Parepare, Akbar Ali, menyatakan pentingnya kehadiran pemantau dalam setiap proses pemungutan suara untuk memastikan transparansi dan keabsahan hasil suara.
“Kami berkomitmen untuk memastikan bahwa setiap pemilih memiliki hak yang sama dan bahwa proses demokrasi berjalan dengan baik dan adil,” ujarnya.
Dede Harirusataman juga menegaskan komitmen Pemerintah Kota Parepare untuk memastikan bahwa setiap tahapan pemilihan berjalan dengan lancar dan sesuai dengan ketentuan yang berlaku.
“Kami akan terus memantau jalannya proses PSU ini hingga tahap akhir guna memastikan integritas dan keadilan dalam penyelenggaraan pemilihan,” tambahnya.
Pemungutan Suara Ulang dilaksanakan sebagai respons terhadap permasalahan teknis atau dugaan pelanggaran yang terjadi pada pemilihan sebelumnya.
Dengan adanya pengawasan yang ketat dari pihak terkait, diharapkan proses pemungutan suara ulang ini dapat berjalan dengan lancar dan menghasilkan keputusan yang dapat diterima secara demokratis.
