Notifedia, Parepare – Pasca penandatanganan Pakta Integritas sebagai bagian dari komitmen bersama dalam pembangunan Zona Integritas di Lapas Kelas II A Parepare, Pj Wali Kota Akbar Ali bersama unsur Forkopimda melaksanakan kunjungan untuk meninjau kondisi para warga binaan di Lapas tersebut.
Kunjungan tersebut dilakukan pada Selasa (6/2/24) dengan tujuan untuk memastikan implementasi komitmen yang telah disepakati serta untuk mengevaluasi kondisi fasilitas dan pelayanan di dalam Lapas.
“Penandatanganan Pakta Integritas merupakan langkah awal yang penting dalam membangun Zona Integritas di Lapas Parepare. Setelah penandatanganan kami melakukan kunjungan untuk melihat secara langsung bagaimana kondisi warga binaan dan mengevaluasi upaya-upaya yang telah dilakukan dalam mewujudkan integritas dan pelayanan yang baik di Lapas ini,” ujar Pj Wali Kota Akbar Ali.
Selama kunjungan tersebut, Pj Wali Kota Akbar Ali dan unsur Forkopimda juga berinteraksi langsung dengan para warga binaan, mendengarkan aspirasi mereka, serta meninjau kondisi fasilitas Lapas dan pelayanan yang diberikan kepada para narapidana.
“Dalam upaya mewujudkan Lapas yang lebih baik, partisipasi dan aspirasi dari para warga binaan sangatlah penting. Kami akan terus berupaya untuk meningkatkan kondisi fasilitas, pelayanan, dan kesejahteraan para narapidana sesuai dengan standar yang ditetapkan,” tambah Akbar Ali.
Kunjungan ini juga diharapkan dapat memperkuat sinergi antara Pemerintah Kota Parepare, Kepolisian, TNI, dan instansi terkait lainnya dalam mendukung upaya pembangunan Zona Integritas di Lapas Kelas II A Parepare.
