“Visitasi yang dilakukan oleh FK Unhas ini bertujuan untuk membuka layanan baru, yaitu bedah saraf. Banyak kasus seperti kecelakaan yang menyebabkan pendarahan otak, sehingga membutuhkan penanganan cepat melalui operasi,” ujar dr. Mahyuddin.
Prof. Haerani, Dekan FK Unhas, menyambut baik kerjasama ini. Menurutnya, kemitraan antara FK Unhas dan RS Ainun Habibie merupakan langkah penting untuk memberikan pelayanan medis yang terbaik bagi masyarakat.
“Kerjasama ini dilakukan untuk memberikan pelayanan yang optimal. Kami akan menempatkan dokter spesialis dan residen senior dari Fakultas Kedokteran Unhas agar masyarakat mendapatkan pelayanan terbaik,” jelasnya.
Sementara itu, Ketua Program Studi Neurologi FK Unhas, Prof. Muhammad Akbar, menyebut kerjasama ini sebagai terobosan strategis untuk menjawab kebutuhan pelayanan kesehatan saraf di wilayah Parepare dan sekitarnya.
“Kolaborasi antara FK Unhas dan RS Hasri Ainun Habibie adalah langkah yang sangat tepat. Ini adalah solusi strategis untuk memastikan pelayanan kesehatan saraf berjalan dengan baik, meskipun membutuhkan waktu untuk menyiapkan dokter spesialis tambahan,” kata Prof. Akbar.
