Notifedia.com, Parepare — Tim Opsnal Unit III Subdit I Direktorat Reserse Narkoba Polda Sulawesi Selatan berhasil mengamankan seorang pria berinisial OS, yang diduga sebagai pelaku peracikan dan peredaran narkotika jenis tembakau sintetis (sinte) dari rumah kontrakan di Kota Parepare.
Penangkapan dilakukan pada Rabu, 28 Mei 2025, sekitar pukul 02.00 WITA. OS diamankan bersama sejumlah barang bukti yang menunjukkan aktivitas home industri peracikan sinte, yang telah siap untuk diedarkan.
Barang bukti yang diamankan antara lain:
167 gram tembakau sintetis siap edar
320 ml cairan sintesis MDMB-4EN-PINACA
Timbangan digital
Tiga dos tutup spray berwarna biru sebagai wadah cairan sintetis
Menurut keterangan dari pihak kepolisian, OS memesan cairan bahan baku MDMB-4EN-PINACA melalui media sosial Instagram. Setelah menerima bahan tersebut yang diperoleh melalui jalur distribusi dari Pulau Jawa, OS kemudian meracik tembakau sintetis di rumah kontrakan/kost yang disewanya di wilayah Makassar dan Parepare.
Produk sinte hasil racikannya kemudian dijual kembali melalui akun Instagram miliknya, dengan sistem pembayaran transfer melalui rekening bank sebagai tanda jadi pemesanan.
“Pelaku telah kami amankan bersama seluruh barang bukti. Saat ini tengah dilakukan penyidikan lebih lanjut di Direktorat Reserse Narkoba Polda Sulsel,” ujar AKBP Budi, Kasubdit I Ditresnarkoba Polda Sulsel, yang membenarkan penangkapan tersebut.
Perbuatan pelaku dijerat dengan Undang-Undang Nomor 35 Tahun 2009 tentang Narkotika. Ancaman hukumannya sangat berat, yakni pidana penjara seumur hidup atau pidana penjara paling singkat lima tahun dan paling lama 20 tahun, serta denda antara Rp1 miliar hingga Rp10 miliar. Apabila jumlah sinte yang diperjualbelikan melebihi lima gram, sanksinya dapat diperberat.
Pihak kepolisian mengimbau masyarakat untuk lebih waspada terhadap peredaran narkotika melalui media sosial, dan turut serta melaporkan aktivitas mencurigakan di lingkungan sekitar.
