WAJO – Pebiliar andalan Tim EVO Pool Pro Team, Ardin Wiranata, berhasil menjuarai open turnamen 9 ball HC 4-6 yang digelar di Zona Billiard & Cafe, Sengkang, Kabupaten Wajo, Sulawesi Selatan, pada Minggu (15/12/2024) malam.
Ardin, yang dikenal dengan julukan ‘King Shoot’, tampil luar biasa di partai final dengan menundukkan Aziz dari tim Bone 168 Billiard dalam pertandingan dramatis yang berakhir dengan skor tipis 7-6, race to 7.
Owner Tim EVO Pool Pro Team, Andi Muh. Awaluddin, yang juga Wakil Ketua POBSI Kota Parepare, mengungkapkan kebanggaannya atas pencapaian Ardin. Menurutnya, kemenangan ini adalah bukti nyata keberhasilan pembinaan yang dilakukan melalui POBSI Kota Parepare.
“Keberhasilan Ardin membuktikan bahwa program pembinaan yang kami lakukan berjalan efektif. Ini menjadi motivasi bagi kami untuk terus mendukung dan melahirkan atlet-atlet biliar berprestasi lainnya,” kata Andi Muh. Awaluddin.
Lanjutnya semoga ini bisa menjadi motifasi kepada atlet Parepare agar lebih giat berlatih supaya bisa kami kirim juga untuk mengikuti turnament2 sampai tingkat nasional. Harapnya.
Kemenangan ini terasa sangat spesial bagi Ardin. Selain menjadi penutup manis di akhir tahun, gelar juara ini juga bertepatan dengan ulang tahunnya yang ke-30 pada 14 Desember 2024.
Tak hanya itu, Ardin yang sebelumnya meraih medali perak pada PON XX-2021 Papua sukses membawa pulang hadiah sebesar Rp 20 juta dari turnamen ini.
“Alhamdulillah, kemenangan ini sangat spesial bagi saya. Ini adalah gelar penutup tahun dan sekaligus hadiah ulang tahun saya,” ujar Ardin penuh syukur.
Tak hanya itu, Ardin juga membagikan kabar bahagia bahwa ia akan menikah pada Februari tahun depan.
“Mohon doanya semoga semuanya dilancarkan,” tambahnya.
Turnamen ini diikuti oleh pebiliar berbakat dari berbagai daerah di Sulawesi Selatan dan menjadi ajang pembuktian bagi para atlet. Dengan kemenangan ini, Ardin kembali menunjukkan kapasitasnya sebagai salah satu pebiliar terbaik di Indonesia, sekaligus mengharumkan nama Tim EVO Pool Pro Team.
