Aksi penembakan terhadap korban, Aiptu Noval, terjadi saat korban tengah melakukan penggerebekan terhadap pelaku di Jalan Abubakar Lambogo,
Kecamatan Makassar, Kota Makassar pada Sabtu dini hari.
Di lokasi kejadian, petugas turut menemukan sepucuk senjata api yang diduga digunakan pelaku untuk menyerang korban.
Kapolrestabes Makassar, Kombes Pol Arya Perdana, dalam keterangannya Selasa sore menyebutkan bahwa kasus ini akan dilimpahkan kepada pihak Polda Sulawesi Selatan untuk penanganan lebih lanjut.
“Kasus itu nanti akan dirilis oleh Polda. Jadi sementara yang terjadi, anggota Polres Pelabuhan yang kena tembak itu pendalamannya oleh Polda nanti. Untuk pelaku kejahatan yang bergelut dengan anggota, sudah kami tangkap dan prosesnya nanti akan dijelaskan oleh Kabid Propam dan Direskrimum secara bersama-sama. Barang bukti senjata api sudah diamankan dan nanti akan dirilis,” jelas Kombes Arya.
Akibat kejadian tersebut, Aiptu Noval mengalami luka tembak di bagian dada dan saat ini tengah menjalani perawatan intensif di Rumah Sakit Bhayangkara Makassar.
Pihak rumah sakit terus memantau kondisi korban yang masih dalam penanganan medis.
Pihak kepolisian menyatakan akan mengusut tuntas kasus ini dan menindak tegas segala bentuk kejahatan yang mengancam keselamatan petugas maupun masyarakat.
