Notifedia.com, Parepare – Momen peringatan Hari Kesadaran Nasional yang jatuh pada 20 Mei ternoda oleh pemandangan memilukan di Kantor Dinas Tenaga Kerja (Disnaker) Kota Parepare. Bendera merah putih, simbol kedaulatan Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia (NKRI), terlihat berkibar dalam kondisi robek dan usang di halaman kantor yang terletak di Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Kecamatan Bacukiki Barat, Selasa (20/5/25) pagi.
Peristiwa ini menuai kemarahan Wakil Wali Kota Parepare, Hermanto. Ia meluapkan kekesalannya melalui grup komunikasi internal SKPD Parepare, sembari mengunggah foto bendera yang rusak itu.
“Hari ini Hari Kesadaran Nasional, masih ada kepala SKPD di Parepare yang belum sadar dan belum bangkit rasa nasionalismenya,” tulis Hermanto dengan nada kecewa.
Mantan anggota DPRD Parepare itu menilai insiden ini mencerminkan kurangnya rasa hormat terhadap simbol negara. Ia menegaskan bahwa Hari Kesadaran Nasional seharusnya menjadi momentum meningkatkan kedisiplinan, semangat pengabdian, dan kesadaran aparatur pemerintah dalam menjalankan tugas kepada masyarakat dan negara.
“Bendera merah putih di kantor dibiarkan berkibar dalam kondisi robek dan usang,” sesalnya.
Menanggapi insiden tersebut, Sekretaris Daerah (Sekda) Parepare, Husni Syam, menyampaikan bahwa pihaknya akan segera menindaklanjuti peristiwa itu. Ia berjanji akan memanggil pihak Disnaker untuk klarifikasi.
“Tentu ini menjadi perhatian teman-teman kepala OPD, bagaimana kita harus menghargai bendera negara kita. Kita berharap, kalau ada hal seperti itu, cepat diantisipasi dan diganti dengan yang baik,” ujar Husni.
Ia menambahkan, klarifikasi akan dilakukan guna mengetahui penyebab pasti terjadinya kelalaian tersebut, apakah karena kurangnya perhatian atau faktor lainnya.
“Nanti kita akan klarifikasi apa penyebabnya. Mungkin saja karena kurang perhatian atau sebagainya. Kita akan lihat lebih lanjut,” tutupnya.
