Dalam pertemuan itu, Wali Kota Tasming menegaskan pentingnya kehadiran sebuah aplikasi terpadu yang mampu mengintegrasikan berbagai layanan publik dan aktivitas pemerintah kota secara real-time.
“Saya menginginkan sebuah aplikasi yang di dalam dasbornya, semua kegiatan dan layanan pemerintah dapat terpantau dan diakses masyarakat dengan mudah,” ujar Tasming.
Ia mencontohkan, ketika warga ingin menyewa Lapangan Andi Makkasau—yang menjadi tanggung jawab Dinas Kepemudaan, Olahraga, dan Pariwisata (DKOP)—mereka dapat melihat jadwal ketersediaan, biaya sewa, metode pembayaran, dan informasi lainnya secara real-time melalui aplikasi.
“Begitu juga di OPD lain, seperti di BKD misalnya. Masyarakat bisa langsung membayar retribusi PBG (Persetujuan Bangunan Gedung) melalui aplikasi ini. Bahkan, bisa disediakan menu khusus untuk memberikan penjelasan kepada masyarakat yang membutuhkan informasi lebih lanjut,” tambahnya.
Menurut Wali Kota, inti dari pengembangan aplikasi ini adalah untuk memberikan kemudahan akses layanan publik kepada masyarakat. Setiap fitur dalam aplikasi akan disesuaikan dengan tugas dan fungsi masing-masing OPD.
“Secara garis besar, pola pengembangan aplikasi ini sudah kami temukan. Sekarang tinggal bagaimana ITH berkolaborasi dengan OPD terkait untuk mendetailkan dan mengimplementasikan sesuai tugas dan fungsinya masing-masing,” jelasnya.
Pengembangan aplikasi Parepare Dalam Genggaman ini diharapkan menjadi langkah maju dalam mewujudkan pelayanan publik yang lebih cepat, transparan, dan efisien berbasis teknologi digital di Kota Parepare.
