NOTIFEDIA, PAREPARE — Gubernur Sulawesi Selatan, Andi Sudirman Sulaiman meninjau Pembangunan Jembatan Alternatif Parepare, yang dikenal dengan sebutan jembatan kembar.
“Alhamdulillah, bantuan keuangan Provinsi TA 2022 sebesar Rp30 miliar kepada Pemerintah Kota (Pemkot) Parepare untuk pembangunan jembatan kembar jalan lingkar tengah sedang mengalami kemajuan pembangunan,” katanya, Minggu (1/1/23).
Sudirman menjelaskan, jembatan ini mendukung jalan lingkar tengah (Swaka Alam Lestari) yang dibangun melalui bantuan keuangan Provinsi Tahun Anggaran 2021 kepada Pemkot Parepare lalu senilai Rp10 miliar.
“Tentu kami mengapresiasi Wali Kota Parepare Bapak Taufan Pawe bersama jajaran atas pembangunan ini, sekaligus sinergitas bersama untuk Parepare lebih baik,” ungkapnya.
Sudirman berharap, bantuan keuangan ini dapat mengakselerasi pembangunan infrastruktur yang memiliki peran besar dalam memacu, dan membantu pemulihan ekonomi masyarakat, khususnya di Kota Parepare.
“Akses ini juga tentunya untuk mengurangi beban lalu lintas di Kota Parepare,” ujarnya.
Sementara itu, Taufan Pawe mengungkapkan, infrastruktur jalan dan jembatan kembar ini, fungsinya sangat vital bagi masyarakat. Di dekatnya, kata Taufan, pembangunan ini akan menjadi penopang dari Jembatan Sumpang Minangae yang merupakan akses utama jalur trans Sulawesi, dan juga menjadi akses menuju Stadion Gelora BJ Habibie.
