Dalam beberapa bulan terakhir, langkah strategis telah diambil untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang kondusif bagi para investor.
Salah satu langkah konkret yang diambil yaitu Pemkot Parepare telah menyediakan tujuh aset daerah yang tidak terpakai untuk di perlihatkan kepada para investor.
Pj Wali Kota Parepare, Akbar Ali saat mengunjungi Lantai tiga Pasar Lakessi menyampaikan komitmen penuh pemerintah dalam memberikan fasilitas dan dukungan kepada para investor. Jum,at (26/1/24).
“Kami membuka pintu lebar-lebar bagi para pelaku bisnis yang ingin berinvestasi di Kota Parepare. Dengan dukungan infrastruktur dan regulasi yang kondusif, kami yakin ini akan menjadi langkah awal menuju perkembangan ekonomi yang berkelanjutan,” ujarnya.
Jelang kedatangan investor, kami terus memantau beberapa aset daerah salah satunya di lantai tiga pasar lakessi ini.
Ada beberapa investor yang tertarik, seperti mendirikan Bioskop XXI , Mall, Hotel, Gedung pertemuan dan Supermarket di Parepare. Jadi kita lihat siapa yang betul-betul tertarik berinvestasi di Parepare.
Selain itu, Pemerintah Kota Parepare juga fokus pada peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia melalui program pelatihan dan pendidikan.
Hal ini diharapkan dapat memberikan keuntungan kompetitif bagi wilayah ini, sehingga menjadi destinasi yang menarik bagi para investor yang mencari tenaga kerja berkualitas.
Sejumlah sektor yang menjadi fokus investasi antara lain industri manufaktur, pariwisata, dan agribisnis.
Pemerintah Kota Parepare optimis bahwa dengan langkah-langkah ini, akan tercipta sinergi positif antara pemerintah dan sektor swasta, mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi yang berkelanjutan, serta memberikan manfaat yang signifikan bagi masyarakat Kota Parepare.
