Notifedia, Parepare — Nama Tasming Hamid (TSM) mengemuka menjadi bakal calon Wali Kota Parepare yang diusung Partai Nasional Demokrat (NasDem) pada Pilkada 2024 yang direncanakan akan berlangsung 27 November mendatang.
Hal ini mencuat setelah foto pertemuan Ketua DPW Partai NasDem Sulsel , Rusdi Masse(RMS) dengan tokoh pengusaha Parepare Mistang Hamid dan Yasser Aslam Tjanring beredar luas di grup-grup WA.
Mistang Hamid diketahui merupakan kakak kandung dari TSM yang dikenal memiliki kedekatan dengan RMS .Informasi yang dihimpun, ada hal khusus yang dibicarakan dalam pertemuan ketiganya terkait dengan Pilwali Parepare.
TSM disebut-sebut mendapatkan restu dari RMS sebagai Bacalon yang akan diusung Partai NasDem yang pada Pemilu 2024 kemarin mendapatkan 3 kursi di DPRD Parepare.
Dari sumber yang sama disebutkan bahwa amanah NasDem kepada Wakil Ketua I DPRD Kota Parepare tersebut diberikan setelah bisa membuktikan diri lolos sebagai anggota DPRD Provinsi dengan memecahkan rekor suara terbanyak di Dapil 6 Sulsel dengan raihan 42.800
Suara TSM di Kota Parepare mendominasi dengan perolehan kurang lebih 38.500 suara. Jumlah tersebut sekaligus memecahkan rekor suara Irpan AB pada pileg 2019 lalu dengan raihan 36.212 suara.
Dikonfirmasi terkait hal tersebut TSM mengaku siap jika diberikan amanah.
“Jika itu perintah partai dan masyarakat Kota Parepare mendukung, Bismillah,”katanya. Saat ini kata TSM, dia fokus menyelesaikan tugasnya sebagai Wakil Ketua I DPRD Kota Parepare.
“Saya sekarang fokus menyelesaikan amanah yang diberikan rakyat di DPRD Parepare,”tutupnya.
