Forum Konsultasi Publik yang berlangsung di Ruang Pola Kantor Wali Kota Parepare itu, turut dihadiri Sekda Parepare Muh Husni Syam, Kepala Bappeda Parepare Zulkarnaen Nasrun selaku pelaksana, jajaran Staf Ahli, Asisten, para Kepala SKPD termasuk Direktur RSUD Andi Makkasau dr Hj Renny Anggraeny Sari, Direktur RS dr Hasri Ainun Habibie dr Mahyuddin, Direktur PAM Tirta Karajae, Rektor ITH, Camat dan Lurah, pejabat terkait, PKK, para Ketua LPMK, Forum Anak, serta stakeholder terkait lainnya.
Pj Wali Kota Akbar Ali dalam sambutannya berharap banyak masukan dari masyarakat dalam forum konsultasi publik ini agar dampaknya benar-benar dirasakan seperti yang diharapkan oleh mereka.
”Beri kesempatan lebih besar kepada masyarakat melalui perwakilan LPMK menyampaikan masukan, ide-ide dan gagasannya. Bisa sampaikan melalui Lurah, kalau tidak ada Lurah bisa ke Camat, tidak ada Camat bisa langsung ke Kepala Bappeda, Asisten, Staf Ahli, Sekda atau langsung ke Wali Kota,” pinta Akbar Ali.
Akbar Ali juga minta pelibatan seluruh perguruan tinggi di Parepare. Beri ruang perguruan tinggi membahas tentang perencanaan program pembangunan daerah di kampus, kemudian hasilnya bisa direkomendasikan ke Pemkot.
“Tidak hanya copy paste seperti sebelum sebelumnya, nanti APBD kita seperti mobil mogok, macet. Program harus bagus agar bisa memberikan manfaat besar kepada masyarakat,” tegas Akbar Ali.
Sementara Kepala Bappeda Zulkarnaen Nasrun dalam laporannya memaparkan bahwa forum konsultasi publik ini merupakan salah satu bagian dalam proses perencanaan pembangunan untuk mewadahi aspirasi publik terhadap Rancangan Awal (Ranwal) RKPD 2025.
