Notifedia, Parepare — Penjabat Wali Kota Parepare, Akbar Ali meninjau proses renovasi Stadion Gelora Bj Habibie usai dilakukan penandatangan kontrak, Senin (18/3/2024).
Akbar Ali bersyukur akhirnya janji renovasi stadion Gelora BJ Habibie terwujud. Meski sebelumnya dia sempat meragukan renovasi stadion itu bisa terwujud.
“Tapi begitu saya dapat surat akan adanya penandatanganan ini saya selaku pemerintah Kota Parepare sangat bersyukur,” ucap dia.
Akbar mengungkapkan, ternyata apa yang sudah dijanjikan kepada masyarakat kita di kota Parepare khususnya secara umum masyarakat Sulawesi Selatan, terwujud.
Sementara, Kepala Balai Prasarana Permukiman Wilayah Sulsel Kusworo Darpito menjelaskan bagian-bagian yang akan direnovasi.
Yang utama, kata dia, bagian penataan lapangan atau Field of Play. “Kegiatan yang kita lakukan terutama penataan field of play. Kemudian penggantian tribun, single seat. Kemudian yang akan kita bangun itu tribun timur dan barat. Kapasitasnya sekitar 5.900-an,” ungkap Kusworo.
