Notifedia, Parepare — Ketidakberesan yang terus merajalela di Pasar Lakessi Kota Parepare kembali menjadi perhatian serius Pj Wali Kota Parepare, Akbar Ali.
Dalam sebuah pernyataan, Akbar Ali mengungkapkan keprihatinannya terhadap masih adanya unsur premanisme yang mengganggu kehidupan pasar. Rabu, (3/4/24).
“Kami sangat prihatin dengan kondisi Pasar Lakessi yang masih diramaikan oleh praktik premanisme. Hal ini telah menciptakan lingkungan yang tidak aman dan tidak kondusif bagi para pedagang dan pengunjung pasar,” ujar Akbar Ali.
Dalam upaya menanggulangi masalah tersebut, Akbar Ali menyoroti pentingnya peran Aparat Penegak Hukum (APH) dalam memberantas aksi premanisme.
“Kami meminta APH untuk turut serta dalam menuntaskan aksi-aksi premanisme yang terjadi di Pasar Lakessi. Diperlukan langkah-langkah tegas dan penegakan hukum yang konsisten untuk mengembalikan ketertiban dan keamanan di pasar tersebut,” tambahnya.
Akbar Ali menekankan bahwa pemberantasan premanisme bukan hanya tanggung jawab pemerintah daerah, tetapi juga merupakan tugas bersama seluruh elemen masyarakat dan aparat penegak hukum.
“Kami mengajak seluruh pihak untuk bersama-sama berperan aktif dalam memberantas premanisme di Pasar Lakessi dan memastikan bahwa pasar tersebut kembali menjadi tempat yang aman dan nyaman bagi semua orang,” pungkasnya.
Pernyataan ini menegaskan komitmen Pj Wali Kota Parepare dalam menangani masalah premanisme secara serius dan mengajak kerja sama semua pihak untuk menciptakan lingkungan pasar yang bersih dari praktik-praktik yang merugikan masyarakat.
