Notifedia.com, Parepare – Memperingati Hari Bhakti Pemasyarakatan (HBP) Ke-61 Tahun 2025, Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas IIA Parepare bersama PIPAS Cabang Lapas IIA Parepare menggelar kegiatan bakti sosial sebagai bentuk kepedulian terhadap sesama.
Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada Senin (14/04/2025) dengan menyalurkan bantuan kepada keluarga Warga Binaan Pemasyarakatan (WBP) yang kurang mampu serta masyarakat sekitar lingkungan Lapas.
Dipimpin langsung oleh Pelaksana Harian (Plh.) Kepala Lapas IIA Parepare, Bahri, S.Sos., M.H., yang juga menjabat sebagai Kepala Seksi Administrasi Keamanan dan Ketertiban, kegiatan ini berlangsung dengan lancar dan penuh semangat kebersamaan. Dalam sambutannya, Bahri menegaskan bahwa kegiatan ini menjadi wujud nyata kepedulian sosial dari jajaran pemasyarakatan kepada masyarakat yang membutuhkan.
“Peringatan Hari Bhakti Pemasyarakatan ke-61 ini menjadi momentum untuk tidak hanya berfokus pada pembinaan di dalam lapas, tetapi juga menunjukkan bahwa pemasyarakatan hadir dan Pasti Bermanfaat Untuk Masyarakat,” ujar Bahri.
Bantuan yang disalurkan berupa paket sembako berisi bahan kebutuhan pokok seperti beras, minyak goreng, gula, mie instan, dan lainnya. Penyaluran dilakukan secara langsung oleh pegawai Lapas Parepare dan anggota PIPAS kepada para penerima manfaat.
Masyarakat dan keluarga WBP yang menerima bantuan menyambut kegiatan ini dengan penuh rasa syukur dan antusiasme. Mereka menyampaikan apresiasi atas perhatian dan kepedulian yang diberikan, terutama di tengah situasi ekonomi yang menantang.
Dengan adanya kegiatan bakti sosial ini, Lapas IIA Parepare berharap dapat terus mempererat hubungan dengan masyarakat sekitar, sekaligus memperkuat citra pemasyarakatan sebagai institusi yang humanis dan berorientasi pada pelayanan publik yang inklusif.
Seluruh rangkaian kegiatan dilaksanakan secara tertib dan tetap mematuhi protokol kesehatan yang berlaku, sebagai bentuk komitmen terhadap keselamatan dan kesehatan bersama.
