Patroli ini dipimpin langsung oleh AKP Wawan Suryadinata, S.I.K, M.H., selaku Kasat Resmob, bersama Panit Tim 1, 2, dan 3 Opsnal serta Panit Sidik. Kegiatan tersebut berlangsung di sejumlah titik rawan di Kota Makassar dan Kabupaten Gowa.
Beberapa titik patroli yang menjadi fokus pengawasan antara lain Jalan AP Pettarani, Urip Sumoharjo, Karebosi, Kajoalalido, Hj. Bau, CPI, Tanjung Bunga, Cendrawasih, Dangko’, Dg. Tata, dan Mallengkeri. Sementara itu, wilayah Kabupaten Gowa seperti Jalan Sultan Hasanuddin, Sech Yusuf, Manggarupi, dan Samata juga turut dipantau dalam kegiatan ini.
Selama patroli berlangsung, petugas menemukan sekelompok pemuda yang sedang berkumpul di lorong dan pinggir jalan. Merespons hal tersebut, anggota Resmob segera melakukan pemeriksaan terhadap badan dan kendaraan bermotor milik para pemuda tersebut.
“Hasil pemeriksaan tidak ditemukan senjata tajam maupun barang berbahaya lainnya. Namun, untuk mencegah potensi gangguan kamtibmas, kelompok pemuda tersebut langsung dibubarkan dan diarahkan kembali ke rumah masing-masing,” ujar AKP Wawan dalam keterangannya.
Sebagai bagian dari prosedur, petugas juga melakukan interogasi ringan dan pembinaan terhadap para pemuda di lokasi. Seluruh kegiatan turut didokumentasikan sebagai bentuk pertanggungjawaban operasional dan bahan evaluasi lanjutan.
Patroli ini merupakan bagian dari upaya Polda Sulsel dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang aman dan bebas dari potensi aksi kriminal jalanan, terutama yang melibatkan kelompok remaja yang kerap berkumpul tanpa kejelasan tujuan pada malam hari.
“Keamanan adalah tanggung jawab bersama. Kami imbau masyarakat untuk tidak segan melaporkan potensi gangguan kamtibmas kepada pihak kepolisian. Patroli akan terus kami lakukan secara berkala demi terciptanya suasana yang kondusif di wilayah hukum Sulsel,” tambah AKP Wawan.
