    Misteri Dua Tangki Ditutup Terpal di Polres Parepare, Polisi Tetapkan Satu Tersangka

    Notifedia.com, Parepare – Dua unit mobil tangki industri terlihat terparkir di halaman Polres Parepare, tepatnya di samping Gedung Paritista,

    Uniknya, kedua tangki tersebut ditutupi rapat dengan terpal, seakan menutupi identitas perusahaan pemilik kendaraan.

    Kondisi ini menimbulkan tanda tanya besar di tengah masyarakat. Banyak yang menduga bahwa kasus tersebut berkaitan dengan dugaan praktik penyaluran Bahan Bakar Minyak (BBM) ilegal, mengingat Polres Parepare sebelumnya beberapa kali menangani perkara serupa.

    Kasat Reskrim Polres Parepare AKP Muh. Agus Purwanto S.H.,M.H., saat dikonfirmasi melalui pesan WhatsApp, membenarkan bahwa satu orang telah ditetapkan sebagai tersangka dari kasus ini.

    “Benar, ada satu orang yang telah kami tetapkan sebagai tersangka dari kasus ini,” ujar AKP Agus. Sabtu, (13/9/25).

    Menurutnya, tersangka dijerat dengan Pasal 55 UU Nomor 22 Tahun 2001 tentang Minyak dan Gas Bumi, yang menegaskan larangan mengolah, mengangkut, menyimpan, maupun menyalurkan minyak dan gas tanpa izin resmi.

    Selain itu, penyidik juga menggunakan Pasal 40 angka 9 UU Nomor 11 Tahun 2020 tentang Cipta Kerja, yang mempertegas pengawasan distribusi energi serta memperberat sanksi bagi pihak-pihak yang menyalahgunakan distribusi BBM.

    Tersangka juga dikenakan Pasal 55 ayat (1) ke-1 KUHP, yang memungkinkan aparat menjerat pihak-pihak lain yang diduga turut serta.

    Dengan jeratan pasal ini, tersangka terancam hukuman pidana hingga 6 tahun penjara serta denda maksimal Rp60 miliar.

    Meski polisi masih menutup rapat identitas perusahaan pemilik tangki, pengamat menilai bahwa modus penyaluran BBM ilegal kerap menggunakan kendaraan industri dengan label resmi, namun dialihkan ke sektor non-subsidi atau bahkan dijual kembali ke pasar gelap.

    Praktik semacam ini sangat merugikan negara, merusak mekanisme distribusi energi, dan bisa memicu kelangkaan di masyarakat.

    “Kalau tangki ditutup terpal, biasanya ada hal yang sengaja tidak ingin diketahui publik, apalagi kalau menyangkut nama perusahaan,” ujar salah satu pemerhati kebijakan energi di Parepare yang enggan disebutkan namanya.

    Hingga kini, dua mobil tangki tersebut masih diamankan di halaman Polres Parepare. Aparat disebut masih mengembangkan penyelidikan untuk memastikan apakah ada pihak lain yang terlibat dalam jaringan distribusi BBM ilegal ini.
