Acara yang mengusung tema “Don’t Miss A Beat” ini diinisiasi oleh Ikatan Dokter Indonesia (IDI), Persatuan Perawat Nasional Indonesia (PPNI), dan INKAVIN dengan dukungan sejumlah pihak.
Ketua Panitia, dr. Asni Mustafa, Sp.JP(K), FIHA, dalam sambutannya menyampaikan terima kasih kepada seluruh pihak yang mendukung terselenggaranya kegiatan ini, mulai dari instansi pemerintah, tenaga kesehatan, mahasiswa, UMKM, hingga sponsor seperti Bank BTN, Prodia, Yakult, dan Kalbe.
“Hari Jantung Sedunia tahun ini mengusung tema Don’t Miss a Beat. Tema ini mengingatkan kita untuk peduli terhadap kesehatan jantung, menjaga pola hidup sehat, serta melakukan deteksi dini agar mendapat pelayanan yang tepat dan merata,” ujar dr. Asni.
Lebih lanjut, ia menekankan bahwa penyakit jantung masih menjadi penyebab kematian nomor satu di dunia. Karena itu, masyarakat diimbau untuk tidak mengabaikan kesehatan jantung, sebab
“setiap detak berarti kehidupan.”
Acara ini diisi dengan beragam kegiatan seperti senam sehat, edukasi kesehatan, hingga pelatihan Bantuan Hidup Dasar (BHD) yang melibatkan lebih dari 100 peserta dari berbagai kalangan, mulai dari BPPD, Satpol PP, Damkar, UMKM, hingga mahasiswa kedokteran Universitas Negeri Makassar (UNM).
Dalam sambutannya, Wali Kota Parepare Tasming Hamid mengapresiasi sinergi seluruh pihak dalam memperingati Hari Jantung Sedunia di Kota Parepare.
“Saya berharap momentum ini menjadi pengingat bagi kita semua untuk menjaga kesehatan jantung. Tidak hanya bagi diri sendiri, tetapi juga untuk keluarga dan masyarakat luas. Mari kita wujudkan Parepare sebagai kota sehat dan berprestasi,” ungkapnya.
Acara berlangsung meriah dan penuh antusiasme. Di akhir kegiatan, panitia mengajak seluruh peserta dan masyarakat untuk bersama-sama menjaga kesehatan jantung melalui pola hidup aktif, gizi seimbang, serta pemeriksaan kesehatan secara rutin.
