    Lapas Parepare Koordinasi dengan Polres, Ungkap Peredaran Sabu di Dalam Lapas

    Notifedia.com, Parepare – Petugas Lembaga Pemasyarakatan (Lapas) Kelas IIA Parepare berhasil menggagalkan upaya penyalahgunaan narkoba di lingkungan lapas.

    Seorang warga masyarakat berinisial AA diamankan pada Senin, 1 September 2025, saat diduga membawa narkoba jenis sabu di area perkantoran lapas.

    Kalapas Parepare menegaskan pihaknya berkomitmen menindak tegas siapa saja yang terlibat penyalahgunaan narkoba, baik warga binaan maupun masyarakat luar.

    “Ini wujud nyata peran Lapas Parepare dalam memerangi narkoba,” tertulis dalam pernyataan resmi Humas Lapas Kelas IIA Parepare.
    Tak hanya AA, dalam perkembangan kasus ini, petugas Kepolisian SatresNarkoba juga mengamankan pria lainnya yang diduga membeli sabu dari dalam lapas. Pria tersebut berinisial R, yang ditangkap sesaat setelah Pengembangan.

    Kasat Narkoba Polres Parepare, Iptu Tarmizi, membenarkan penangkapan tersebut.

    “Pria itu diamankan oleh petugas lapas saat diperiksa usai membeli sabu dari dalam lapas. Kita langsung mengamankan. Dan saat pengembangan kita juga mengamankan satu orang lagi. masing-masing berinisial AA dan R,” ujarnya, Senin (22/9/2025).

    Mendapat laporan dari pihak lapas, Satuan Narkoba Polres Parepare segera menindaklanjuti dengan menahan para pelaku. Polisi juga telah memeriksa seorang warga binaan berinisial A yang diduga menjadi pengedar sabu di dalam lapas.

    “Koordinasi dengan pihak lapas berjalan baik. Mereka sangat kooperatif dalam menanggulangi bahaya narkoba di Parepare,” tambah Tarmizi.

    Saat ini, polisi masih melakukan penyelidikan mendalam untuk mengungkap jaringan peredaran sabu yang melibatkan warga binaan lapas.
