Notifedia.com, Makassar – Direktorat Reserse Narkoba Polda Sulawesi Selatan bersama BNNP Sulsel melakukan pemusnahan barang bukti narkotika jenis sabu-sabu seberat 44 kilogram, Selasa (tanggal menyesuaikan), di halaman Mapolda Sulsel, Makassar.
Selasa, (30/9/25).
Barang bukti tersebut merupakan hasil pengungkapan kasus penyelundupan sabu jaringan lintas provinsi yang digagalkan di Pelabuhan Nusantara Parepare pada 5 September 2025 lalu.
Seorang kurir berinisial AA, warga Samarinda, Kalimantan Timur, ditangkap saat membawa sabu dalam dua karung putih menggunakan kapal KM Aditia.
Proses pemusnahan dilakukan dengan cara dibakar menggunakan mobil incinerator milik BNNP Sulsel. Sebelum dimusnahkan, barang bukti terlebih dahulu diuji keasliannya oleh tim laboratorium forensik.
Kapolres Parepare, AKBP Indra Waspad Yuda, yang hadir dalam pemusnahan mengatakan, langkah ini dilakukan sebagai bentuk komitmen kepolisian dalam memutus mata rantai peredaran narkoba di Sulawesi Selatan.
“Dari hasil pengungkapan ini, 44 bungkus sabu yang dikemas dalam dua karung sudah berhasil kita musnahkan. Jika lolos, barang ini rencananya akan diedarkan di 24 kabupaten/kota di Sulsel,” tegasnya.
Selain itu, polisi juga menegaskan bahwa kasus ini masih dikembangkan. Seorang pelaku lain berinisial A, yang diduga sebagai otak penyelundupan sekaligus pemberi perintah kepada AA, masih buron dan masuk daftar pencarian orang (DPO).
Tersangka AA kini telah ditetapkan sebagai tersangka dan dijerat Pasal 114 ayat (2) serta Pasal 112 ayat (2) UU Nomor 35 Tahun 2009 tentang Narkotika, dengan ancaman hukuman mati.
Dengan pemusnahan barang bukti ini, aparat memastikan sabu senilai Rp44 miliar itu tidak lagi mengancam masyarakat Sulawesi Selatan.
