Notifedia.com, PAREPARE – Wakil Wali Kota Parepare, Hermanto, meninjau langsung pelaksanaan perdana Program Makan Bergizi Gratis (MBG) yang digelar di tiga sekolah, yakni MAN 2, SDN 35, dan SMP 3 Parepare, Kamis (12/6/2025). Program yang merupakan kebijakan dari pemerintah pusat ini menyasar 2.245 siswa di kota tersebut.
Dalam kunjungannya, Hermanto memastikan program berjalan dengan lancar dan sesuai standar gizi yang ditetapkan.
“Dari hasil peninjauan, anak-anak sangat senang dan menyampaikan terima kasih atas adanya program ini. Karena itu, saya ingin memastikan bahwa nilai gizi dalam setiap menu benar-benar terjaga,” ungkap Hermanto.
Ia juga menerima sejumlah masukan dari para siswa, seperti keinginan agar menu dilengkapi saus atau kecap sebagai penambah rasa. Namun secara umum, kata Hermanto, para siswa merasa porsi makanan yang diberikan sudah cukup mengenyangkan.
“Menu akan terus berganti setiap harinya selama 22 hari pelaksanaan. Ini penting untuk memastikan variasi dan keseimbangan nutrisi tetap terjaga,” ujarnya.
Hermanto menegaskan, Pemerintah Kota Parepare berkomitmen penuh dalam menyukseskan Program Makan Bergizi Gratis. Pengawasan ketat akan dilakukan secara rutin agar kualitas makanan yang disajikan tetap terjamin.
“Ini bukan sekadar program bantuan makan, tetapi juga investasi untuk kesehatan dan kecerdasan generasi muda kita,” pungkasnya.
