Notifedia.com, PAREPARE – Wali Kota Parepare, Tasming Hamid, melakukan peninjauan langsung terhadap progres pembersihan dan penataan kawasan Pantai Ku yang terletak di sepanjang Jalan Mattirotasi, Sabtu. (14/6/2025).
Didampingi sejumlah Satuan Kerja Perangkat Daerah (SKPD) terkait, Tasming Hamid atau yang akrab disapa TSM, meninjau kondisi terkini kawasan Pantai Ku yang selama ini dikenal sebagai salah satu ruang publik favorit masyarakat untuk berolahraga, terutama berenang.
“Kami bersama sejumlah SKPD terkait meninjau progres kebersihan dan penataan Pantai Ku,” kata TSM saat berada di lokasi.
Menurutnya, kawasan Pantai Ku memiliki fungsi strategis sebagai sarana publik, sehingga perlu mendapat perhatian serius dari pemerintah dalam aspek kebersihan dan tata kelola kawasan.
“Pantai ini banyak dimanfaatkan masyarakat untuk aktivitas olahraga, termasuk renang. Itu sebabnya kawasan ini harus dijaga kebersihannya dan ditata dengan baik,” jelas mantan Wakil Ketua DPRD Parepare tersebut.
Tasming Hamid juga mengajak partisipasi aktif masyarakat dalam menjaga dan merawat kawasan Pantai Ku.
Tasming menegaskan, keberhasilan penataan kawasan publik tidak hanya bergantung pada kerja pemerintah, namun juga keterlibatan warga dalam menjaga kebersihan dan kelestariannya.
“Kita harapkan masyarakat turut ambil bagian dalam menjaga kebersihan dan mendukung upaya penataan Pantai Ku ini,” tuturnya.
Penataan kawasan Pantai Ku ini merupakan bagian dari program Pemerintah Kota Parepare dalam menciptakan ruang publik yang bersih, nyaman, dan aman bagi seluruh warga.
