Notifedia.com, PAREPARE – Wali Kota Parepare, Tasming Hamid, menegaskan komitmennya dalam memastikan program nasional Makan Bergizi Gratis (MBG) berjalan maksimal dan tepat sasaran di wilayahnya. Hal itu dibuktikannya dengan turun memantau pelaksanaan program tersebut di sejumlah lokasi, Senin (16/6/2025).
Tasming Hamid mengawali kunjungannya di dua Taman Kanak-kanak (TK) di Kecamatan Bacukiki Barat. Ia melihat langsung proses pendistribusian dan penyajian makanan bergizi kepada para siswa. Dalam kesempatan itu, Tasming juga berdialog dengan anak-anak dan menanyakan kesan mereka terhadap menu yang disajikan.
“Alhamdulillah, anak-anak terlihat senang dan makan dengan lahap. Mereka makan menu yang disediakan,” ujar Tasming usai kunjungan.
Selain ke sekolah, Tasming turut menyambangi dapur Satuan Pelayanan Pemenuhan Gizi (SPPG) di kecamatan yang sama. Di lokasi ini, ia menayakan proses pengolahan makanan ke penanggung jawab SPPG. Mulai dari pemilihan bahan baku hingga tahap pengemasan steril sebelum didistribusikan ke sekolah-sekolah.
“Alhamdulillah, semua prosedur mereka jalan dengan baik. Sudah ada ahli gizinya juga. Sesuai SOP lah. Kami selaku pemerintah kota hanya ingin memastikan setiap proses berjalan sesuai standar. Ini penting agar makanan yang dikonsumsi anak-anak benar-benar aman dan bergizi,” katanya.
Tasming menjelaskan bahwa Kota Parepare membutuhkan sekitar 10 dapur SPPG untuk mendukung kelancaran program MBG. Pemerintah kota, kata dia, berkomitmen penuh untuk mengawal implementasi program tersebut secara menyeluruh.
“Komitmen kami jelas, memastikan program ini terlaksana dengan baik dan benar-benar memberi manfaat bagi tumbuh kembang anak-anak kita,” tegasnya.
