Notifedia.com, Maros — Ketua Komite Olahraga Nasional Indonesia (KONI) Kota Parepare, Fadly Agoes Mante, kembali menunjukkan kepemimpinannya dalam mendukung perkembangan olahraga di daerah.
Didampingi sejumlah pengurus, ia hadir langsung memantau pelaksanaan Pra Pekan Olahraga Provinsi (Pra Porprov) cabang olahraga Kempo yang berlangsung di Gedung Serba Guna Kabupaten Maros, Sabtu (27/9/2025).
Kehadiran Ketua Awink sapaannya bukan sekadar kunjungan seremonial, melainkan bentuk nyata perhatian KONI Parepare terhadap perjuangan atletnya. Ia turun langsung untuk memastikan jalannya pertandingan, sekaligus memberikan motivasi kepada atlet Kempo Parepare yang tengah berjuang mengukir prestasi.
“Dukungan moral ini penting. Kami ingin atlet merasa bahwa mereka tidak sendiri, ada KONI dan masyarakat Parepare yang selalu memberi semangat. Target kami tentu saja lolos dan meraih hasil terbaik di Porprov Sulsel nanti,” tegas Awink.
Awink menambahkan, monitoring seperti ini akan terus dilakukan pada semua cabang olahraga yang mengikuti Pra Porprov. Baginya, kepemimpinan bukan hanya soal manajerial di belakang meja, tetapi juga hadir bersama atlet di lapangan.
Langkah ini mendapat apresiasi dari pengurus dan pelatih yang merasa kehadiran Ketua KONI memberikan dorongan besar bagi mental tanding atlet.
Pra Porprov Kempo sendiri menjadi ajang penting untuk menentukan tiket menuju Pekan Olahraga Provinsi (Porprov) Sulawesi Selatan, sekaligus tolok ukur kemampuan atlet menghadapi persaingan tingkat provinsi.
