Parepare – Menindaklanjuti Surat Dinas Ketahanan Pangan Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan perihal Penyampaian Pelaksanaan Kegiatan Gerakan Pangan Murah/Bazar Pangan Murah Bulan Juli Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan Tahun 2024, Dinas Ketahanan Pangan Kota Parepare menggelar kegiatan Gerakan Pangan Murah di pelataran parkir Islamic Center Kota Parepare pada hari Senin, (22/7/24).
Kepala Bidang Ketersediaan, Kerawanan, dan Distribusi Pangan Kota Parepare, Abdul Wahid, menjelaskan bahwa kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk membantu masyarakat mendapatkan bahan pangan dengan harga terjangkau.
“Kami berharap dengan adanya Gerakan Pangan Murah ini, masyarakat dapat memenuhi kebutuhan pangan sehari-hari dengan lebih mudah dan terjangkau,” ujar Abdul Wahid.
Dalam kegiatan ini, berbagai jenis bahan pangan seperti beras, minyak goreng, gula, dan kebutuhan pokok lainnya dijual dengan harga yang lebih murah dibandingkan harga pasar.
“Di kegiatan ini juga kami bekerja sama dengan para pelaku UMKM Lokal yang mana di berikan tempat juga untuk memasarkan pruduk-produk lokalnya.” Tambahnya.
Di tempat yang sama, Camat Ujung Kota Parepare, Muh. Yusuf, menambahkan bahwa Gerakan Pangan Murah ini merupakan salah satu upaya pemerintah untuk menjaga stabilitas harga dan ketersediaan pangan di wilayahnya.
“Kegiatan ini sangat penting untuk membantu masyarakat, terutama di tengah kondisi ekonomi yang masih belum stabil. Kami berkomitmen untuk terus mendukung program-program seperti ini demi kesejahteraan warga,” kata Muh. Yusuf.
Kami berharap dapat memberikan manfaat yang luas bagi masyarakat dengan adanya kegiatan ini serta, kami pun juga meminta agar kiranya Dinas Ketahanan Pangan bisa terus melaksanakan kegiatan ini minimal dua bulan sekali. Tambahnya.
