    Karate Ajarkan Jiwa Kesatria, Tasming Hamid: Menang atau Kalah, Junjung Sportivitas!

    Notifedia.com, PAREPARE — Wali Kota Parepare, Tasming Hamid, menyampaikan apresiasi dan penghargaan setinggi-tingginya kepada panitia penyelenggara, khususnya INKANAS Sulsel dan Batalyon B Pelopor Brimob Polda Sulsel, atas inisiatif menyelenggarakan Kejuaraan Karate INKANAS Sulsel Seri I di Kota Parepare, Jumat (18/7/2025).

    Hal itu disampaikan Tasming saat membuka secara resmi kegiatan tersebut yang turut dihadiri jajaran Forkopimda.

    Dalam sambutannya, Tasming menegaskan bahwa kegiatan ini bukan sekadar ajang kompetisi, tetapi juga menjadi wadah pembinaan karakter, mental, serta sarana memperkuat semangat sportivitas dan solidaritas di antara para karateka se-Sulawesi Selatan.

    “Kejuaraan seperti ini tidak hanya bertujuan meraih juara, tetapi juga menanamkan semangat pantang menyerah, jiwa kesatria, serta kesiapan dalam menghadapi tantangan kehidupan yang sesungguhnya,” ungkapnya.

    Tasming juga menyampaikan rasa bangganya karena Kota Parepare dipercaya menjadi tuan rumah ajang bergengsi ini. Ia menyebutkan, sebanyak kurang lebih 1.000 peserta turut ambil bagian dalam kejuaraan tersebut.

    “Kepada seluruh atlet, saya ucapkan selamat bertanding. Junjung tinggi sportivitas. Anggap lawan tanding sebagai mitra menuju jenjang berikutnya, bukan sebagai musuh. Yang menang jangan jumawa, yang kalah jangan berkecil hati,” pesan Tasming.
