Notifedia.com, Parepare – Komisi II DPRD Kota Parepare menggelar Rapat Dengar Pendapat (RDP) bersama Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Disdikbud), Inspektorat, serta sejumlah kepala sekolah, Selasa (1/7/2025).
Agenda tersebut membahas polemik Sistem Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru (PPDB) jalur domisili yang menuai protes dari orang tua murid.
Rapat dipimpin Ketua Komisi II DPRD Parepare, Parman Agus Mante, dan dihadiri Plt. Inspektur Eko W. Ariyadi, Kadis Disdikbud HM Makmur Husain, serta perwakilan sekolah. RDP ini digelar menyusul banyaknya keluhan masyarakat terkait dugaan ketidaktransparanan dalam seleksi PPDB di sejumlah SD favorit.
“Kami menerima aduan dari orang tua yang anaknya tidak lolos PPDB meski sudah memenuhi syarat domisili. Karena itu, kami ingin mendalami apakah pelaksanaannya sudah sesuai juknis daerah maupun Permendikbud,” tegas Parman.
Meski menilai sistem aplikasi PPDB sudah berjalan cukup baik, Komisi II memberikan sejumlah rekomendasi perbaikan. Di antaranya, membuka jalur tahfiz, prestasi, atau kerja sama sebagai opsi seleksi tambahan di sekolah favorit.
Selain itu, Parman juga mengusulkan penggabungan beberapa sekolah dalam satu kompleks untuk meratakan jumlah siswa. “Kalau dilebur menjadi satu nama sekolah, kuota rombel dan siswa bisa lebih merata,” jelasnya.
Komisi II juga menekankan pentingnya pemerataan guru dan kepala sekolah yang berkualitas. Hal ini dianggap sebagai solusi mengurangi kesenjangan mutu pendidikan antar sekolah yang selama ini memunculkan favoritisme.
DPRD berharap rekomendasi ini segera ditindaklanjuti Disdikbud sehingga sistem PPDB ke depan lebih adil dan transparan bagi seluruh calon peserta didik di Parepare.
