Parepare, – Kota Parepare kembali menggelar ajang sepak bola tahunan yang ditunggu-tunggu, Liga Ramadhan Askot PSSI Kota Parepare. Kompetisi yang mempertemukan klub-klub terbaik di kota ini resmi bergulir setelah dibuka secara langsung oleh Wali Kota Parepare, Tasming Hamid, di Alun-alun Lapangan Andi Makkasau, Rabu (5/3/25).
Acara pembukaan berlangsung meriah dan penuh semangat, dihadiri oleh berbagai elemen masyarakat, mulai dari pejabat daerah, tokoh sepak bola, hingga para pemain dan suporter yang antusias menyaksikan turnamen ini.
Dalam sambutannya, Wali Kota Parepare, Tasming Hamid, menekankan pentingnya Liga Ramadhan sebagai ajang untuk mempererat silaturahmi serta membangun semangat sportivitas di kalangan pecinta sepak bola.
“Liga Ramadhan ini bukan hanya sekadar turnamen, tetapi juga wadah untuk memperkuat kebersamaan, menanamkan nilai-nilai sportif, dan tentu saja menghibur masyarakat selama bulan suci ini,” ujar Tasming Hamid di hadapan para hadirin.
Selain itu, Tasming juga menyampaikan apresiasinya kepada Askot PSSI Kota Parepare yang terus berupaya mengembangkan sepak bola di daerah ini. Menurutnya, kompetisi seperti ini dapat menjadi batu loncatan bagi pemain-pemain muda berbakat untuk berkembang dan meraih prestasi lebih tinggi.
Acara pembukaan Liga Ramadhan tahun ini semakin istimewa dengan rangkaian kegiatan lain, termasuk seremoni pembukaan Kegiatan Ramadhan serta penyerahan 1 unit mobil ambulans dari Bank BRI Kota Parepare kepada pemerintah daerah.
Penyerahan mobil ambulans ini disambut baik oleh Wali Kota Parepare, yang mengapresiasi dukungan Bank BRI dalam meningkatkan layanan kesehatan bagi masyarakat. Ia berharap bantuan ini dapat dimanfaatkan secara maksimal untuk kebutuhan darurat dan pelayanan kesehatan yang lebih cepat dan efektif.
Dengan resmi bergulirnya Liga Ramadhan Askot PSSI Parepare, harapan besar muncul agar ajang ini dapat berjalan sukses dan semakin meningkatkan gairah sepak bola di kota ini. Pemerintah Kota Parepare berkomitmen untuk terus mendukung kegiatan olahraga sebagai bagian dari pembangunan karakter generasi muda.
“Semoga turnamen ini melahirkan bibit-bibit pesepak bola unggul yang bisa mengharumkan nama Parepare di kancah nasional maupun internasional,” tutup Wali Kota Tasming Hamid.
Liga Ramadhan tahun ini diharapkan tidak hanya menjadi hiburan selama bulan puasa, tetapi juga menjadi wadah prestasi bagi para pemain muda Parepare. Dengan semangat sportivitas dan kebersamaan, kompetisi ini siap menyajikan pertandingan yang menarik bagi seluruh masyarakat.
