Rapat evaluasi tersebut digelar di Kantor Sekretaris Daerah Kota Parepare, Kamis (2/5/2025), dan diikuti oleh pimpinan serta perwakilan dari Dinas Lingkungan Hidup (DLH), Dinas Perhubungan (Dishub), Unit Penerangan Jalan Umum (PJU), serta para Camat dan Lurah se-Kota Parepare.
Dalam arahannya, Tasming Hamid menekankan pentingnya peningkatan kualitas pelayanan masyarakat di sektor-sektor tersebut.
Dia mengingatkan bahwa keberhasilan program pemerintah sangat bergantung pada kinerja dan keseriusan seluruh perangkat daerah dalam menjalankan tugas masing-masing.
“Instansi-instansi ini bersentuhan langsung dengan kebutuhan dan kenyamanan masyarakat. Maka kinerja dan responsivitas mereka harus benar-benar optimal,” tegas Tasming Hamid.
Mantan Waketua DPRD Parepare itu juga meminta agar seluruh jajaran fokus pada upaya perbaikan sistem layanan publik, baik dari segi infrastruktur, kebersihan lingkungan, penerangan jalan, hingga ketertiban lalu lintas dan administrasi kependudukan di tingkat kelurahan.
“Fokus kita adalah masyarakat. Bagaimana mereka bisa merasakan kehadiran pemerintah yang sigap, cepat, dan memberi solusi,” tambahnya.
Evaluasi kinerja ini, lanjut Tasming Hamid dapat menjadi momentum bagi seluruh pihak untuk memperbaiki kekurangan serta menyusun langkah-langkah strategis dalam memberikan pelayanan yang lebih baik ke depan.
