Parepare – Pemerintah Kota (Pemkot) Parepare secara resmi membuka Seleksi Tilawatil Qur’an dan Hadits (STQH) Ke-34 tingkat Kota Parepare Tahun 2025. Kegiatan ini berlangsung di Auditorium BJ Habibie pada Kamis (30/1/2025) dan dihadiri oleh sejumlah pejabat, tokoh agama, serta berbagai elemen masyarakat.
Pembukaan STQH ditandai dengan pemukulan gong oleh Asisten I Bidang Pemerintahan dan Kesejahteraan Rakyat (Kesra) Kota Parepare, Dede Harirustaman. Selain itu, dilakukan pemasangan jubah secara simbolis kepada dewan hakim yang akan menilai para peserta.
Dalam sambutannya, Dede Harirustaman menekankan bahwa STQH bukan sekadar ajang kompetisi, tetapi juga menjadi sarana pembinaan bagi generasi muda dalam memahami dan mengamalkan nilai-nilai Al-Qur’an dan Hadits.
“Mencetak generasi Qur’ani adalah tugas mulia yang membutuhkan sinergi dari berbagai pihak. Untuk itu, kami ingin menegaskan pentingnya kolaborasi antara Pemerintah Kota Parepare, Kementerian Agama Kota Parepare, serta semua pihak terkait sebagai kunci utama dalam mendorong pembinaan, pelatihan, dan pengembangan potensi qari-qariah dan hafiz-hafizah,” ujar Dede.
Kegiatan STQH Ke-34 ini diharapkan dapat melahirkan qari-qariah dan hafiz-hafizah terbaik yang akan mewakili Kota Parepare pada ajang serupa di tingkat provinsi maupun nasional.
Selain itu, ajang ini juga menjadi momentum untuk semakin menanamkan kecintaan terhadap Al-Qur’an di tengah masyarakat.
Dengan dukungan penuh dari pemerintah dan masyarakat, STQH 2025 di Kota Parepare diharapkan berjalan sukses dan memberikan manfaat luas bagi pembinaan generasi muda Qur’ani.
