Parepare, – Pengurus Masjid Raya Kota Parepare menyerahkan donasi untuk Palestina guna pembangunan masjid semi permanen di wilayah tersebut. Yang berlangsung di Masjid Raya Kota Parepare. Minggu, (9/2/25).
Bantuan ini disalurkan melalui Dewan Masjid Indonesia (DMI) Sulawesi Selatan dan diterima langsung oleh Ketua DMI Sulsel, Mayor Jenderal TNI (Purn.) H. Andi Muhammad Bau Sawa Mappanyukki, S.H., M.H., yang pernah menjabat sebagai Panglima Komando Daerah Militer XIV/Hasanuddin di saksikan Kabag Kesra Kota Parepare.
Donasi tersebut diserahkan oleh Ketua Pembangunan Masjid Raya, H. Ibrahim Mukti, bersama Ketua Pengurus Masjid Raya, H. Abdul Latif Hafid.
Dalam kesempatan tersebut, H. Abdul Latif Hafid menyampaikan bahwa donasi ini merupakan hasil dari partisipasi jamaah serta masyarakat Parepare yang peduli terhadap kondisi Palestina.
“Kami berharap bantuan ini dapat bermanfaat dan membantu saudara-saudara kita di Palestina yang membutuhkan tempat ibadah yang layak di tengah situasi sulit yang mereka hadapi,” ujarnya.
Sementara itu, Ketua DMI Sulsel, Mayor Jenderal TNI (Purn.) H. Andi Muhammad Bau Sawa Mappanyukki, mengapresiasi kepedulian masyarakat Parepare yang telah berkontribusi dalam pembangunan masjid di Palestina.
“Ini adalah bentuk solidaritas umat Islam yang luar biasa. Kami akan memastikan bantuan ini tersalurkan dengan baik dan tepat sasaran,” katanya.
Penyerahan donasi ini menjadi bukti nyata kepedulian umat Islam di Indonesia terhadap kondisi Palestina dan diharapkan dapat menjadi inspirasi bagi daerah lain untuk turut serta dalam aksi kemanusiaan serupa.
