Notifedia, Makassar – Memperingati Hari Pendidikan Nasional (Hardiknas) yang jatuh setiap 2 Mei, Pj Wali Kota Parepare, Akbar Ali, mengumumkan bantuan luar biasa dari anak-anak SD dan SMP se Kota Parepare.
Bantuan tersebut di serahkan di sela-sela waktu luang Rapat Koordinasi Pemilihan Kepala Daerah (Pilkada) di Provinsi Sulsel, bantuan tersebut disampaikan secara langsung kepada Sekretaris Daerah (Sekda) Tana Toraja, dr. Rudhy Andi Lolo. Dengan Total sumbangan yang terkumpul mencapai Rp. 55.069.000. Kamis, (2/5/24).
Pemerintah Kabupaten Tana Toraja mengucapkan terima kasih melalui Sekda, dr. Rudhy Andi Lolo, kepada Pemerintah Kota Parepare dan seluruh pelajar di kota tersebut atas kepedulian mereka dalam membantu korban longsor di Tana Toraja.
Keberadaan solidaritas dari para pelajar ini menjadi contoh nyata semangat gotong royong dalam membantu sesama, terlebih dalam situasi darurat seperti ini.
Pj Wali Kota Parepare, Akbar Ali, menyatakan bahwa kegiatan ini tidak hanya menjadi momentum peringatan Hardiknas, tetapi juga sebagai wujud nyata kepedulian terhadap sesama, sesuai dengan semangat hari pendidikan nasional yang mengajarkan untuk saling membantu dan peduli terhadap lingkungan sekitar.
Semoga bantuan ini dapat meringankan beban korban longsor Tana Toraja dan menginspirasi lebih banyak lagi orang untuk berbagi dan peduli terhadap sesama, tidak hanya di Sulawesi Selatan, tetapi juga di seluruh Indonesia.
