Notifedia, Parepare – Pj Wali Kota Parepare, Akbar Ali, dengan penuh semangat melepas acara Pasar Murah 1445H yang berlangsung di Halaman Kantor Kecamatan Bacukiki Barat pada hari Selasa, (19/3/24).Sebanyak 4.510 penerima manfaat dari 22 kelurahan Se-Kota Parepare akan di distribusikan melalui Pasar Murah tersebut.
Dalam sambutannya, Akbar Ali menyampaikan, Pemerintah Kota Parepare melalui Dinas Perdagangan, berupaya untuk menstabilkan harga bahan pokok strategis pada momen-momen besar seperti ini melalui kegiatan Operasi Pasar Murah.
“Kegiatan rutin pemerintah daerah ini sebagai tindakan antisipasi kenaikan harga yang cukup signifikan pada momen-momen tertentu.” Ujarnya.
Kegiatan Pasar Murah ini pada dasarnya merupakan bagian dari upaya stabilisasi harga. Pemerintah daerah perlu melakukan intervensi guna mengatasi inflasi dan menciptakan stabilitas ekonomi.
Pemerintah Kota Parepare menggelar pasar murah ini bertujuan untuk mengurangi beban masyarakat akan lonjakan harga kebutuhan pokok atau sembako selama Bulan Ramadhan.
“Barang kebutuhan pokok yang dijual di pasar murah ini dijual dengan harga yang murah dan terjangkau karena Pemerintah Kota Parepare bekerja sama dengan toko retail dengan menyubsidi harga pada barang yang akan dijual.” Lanjutnya.
Olehnya itu, saya berharap melalui kegiatan Pasar Murah yang setiap tahunnya dilaksanakan ini dapat membantu masyarakat dalam memenuhi sebahagian kebutuhan pokoknya.
“Seperti biasa, menjelang Bulan Ramadhan dan hari-hari Raya, permintaan kebutuhan bahan pokok di masyarakat cenderung terus meningkat, sehingga berdampak pada kenaikan harga.”
Acara ini juga dihadiri oleh Kepala BPS Kota Parepare, Wakil Kepala Bulog Kota Parepare, Kepala SKPD serta Camat dan Lurah, juga perwakilan penerima manfaat. acara ini, menunjukkan solidaritas dan kepedulian bersama dalam membantu sesama.
Dengan berakhirnya acara Pasar Murah 1445H ini, diharapkan bantuan yang diberikan dapat memberikan dampak positif dan meringankan beban hidup bagi masyarakat Kota Parepare yang membutuhkan.
