Notifedia.com, PAREPARE — Wali Kota Parepare, Tasming Hamid, melakukan kunjungan silaturahmi ke kediaman almarhum mantan Wakil Wali Kota Parepare, Faisal Andi Sapada (FAS), di Jalan Andi Sapada, Sabtu (7/6/2025).
Kunjungan tersebut merupakan bentuk penghormatan dan silaturahmi kepada keluarga almarhum yang semasa hidup dikenal dengan sapaan akrab Puang Ical. Tasming Hamid disambut oleh istri almarhum, R.A. Rina Sari Larasatie, bersama keluarga besar.
“Almarhum Puang Ical adalah sosok yang banyak berjasa bagi Kota Parepare. Semasa hidupnya, beliau telah memberikan kontribusi besar, baik sebagai birokrat maupun sebagai tokoh politik,” ujar Tasming Hamid.
Selain pernah menjabat sebagai Wakil Wali Kota Parepare, almarhum Puang Ical juga dikenal sebagai kader senior Partai NasDem. Ia sempat memimpin DPC Partai NasDem Parepare dan menjadi figur penting dalam perkembangan partai tersebut di daerah.
“Beliau adalah panutan dan teladan dalam berorganisasi dan membangun Parepare,” tambah Tasming yang juga menjabat sebagai Ketua DPC Partai NasDem Parepare.
Turut hadir dalam kunjungan tersebut, Wakil Ketua DPRD Parepare sekaligus legislator Partai NasDem, Suyuti. Terlihat pula Rektor IAS Parepare Prof. Bakhtiar Tijjang, serta Ketua DPC Partai Gerindra Parepare, Surianto.
Kunjungan ini berlangsung dalam suasana hangat dan penuh keakraban sebagai bentuk penghormatan kepada sosok almarhum yang telah berjasa dalam pembangunan dan pelayanan kepada masyarakat Parepare.
