MAKASSAR – Wali Kota Parepare, Tasming Hamid, menghadiri kegiatan High Level Meeting Tim Pengendalian Inflasi Daerah (TPID) yang digelar di Kantor Gubernur Sulawesi Selatan, Makassar, pada Kamis (6/3/2025).
Pertemuan tersebut dipimpin langsung oleh Gubernur Sulawesi Selatan, Andi Sudirman Sulaiman, dan dihadiri oleh seluruh Bupati serta Wali Kota se-Sulawesi Selatan. Kegiatan ini menjadi langkah strategis dalam memastikan stabilitas harga kebutuhan pokok, terutama menjelang Hari Besar Keagamaan Nasional (HBKN) Ramadhan dan Idul Fitri 2025.
Tasming Hamid menegaskan bahwa menjaga kestabilan harga merupakan upaya krusial guna mendukung daya beli masyarakat serta mencegah lonjakan inflasi.
“Ini bentuk perhatian Pemerintah Provinsi dalam upaya mengendalikan harga kebutuhan pokok masyarakat jelang Hari Raya Idul Fitri. Kami, Pemerintah Kota Parepare, tentu sangat mengapresiasi langkah ini,” ujar Tasming Hamid yang akrab disapa TSM.
Dalam pertemuan tersebut, dibahas berbagai strategi dan langkah teknis guna memastikan ketersediaan serta keterjangkauan harga bahan pangan. Pemerintah daerah dan provinsi pun berkomitmen untuk memperkuat pengawasan di lapangan agar tidak terjadi spekulasi harga maupun kelangkaan barang.
Tasming menambahkan bahwa Pemerintah Kota Parepare siap berkolaborasi dengan berbagai pihak guna menerapkan hasil pertemuan ini di tingkat lokal.
“Kami akan melakukan pengawasan ketat dan memastikan program-program pengendalian inflasi berjalan efektif di Parepare,” tegasnya.
Sementara itu, Gubernur Sulawesi Selatan, Andi Sudirman Sulaiman, dalam sambutannya menekankan pentingnya menjaga pasokan bahan pokok serta memperkuat koordinasi antar daerah.
Diharapkan melalui pertemuan ini, langkah-langkah konkret dapat segera diterapkan untuk menjaga kestabilan ekonomi serta kesejahteraan masyarakat di Sulawesi Selatan, khususnya di Kota Parepare.
