Makassar – Duta Generasi Berencana (GenRe) Kota Parepare kembali menorehkan prestasi gemilang dalam acara Apresiasi Duta dan Jambore Ajang Kreativitas Generasi Berencana yang digelar oleh BKKBN Perwakilan Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Acara tersebut berlangsung meriah di Makassar pada Rabu (22/5/2024).
Pada ajang bergengsi ini, Duta GenRe Putra Parepare berhasil meraih posisi juara kedua, sementara Duta GenRe Putri sukses meraih gelar juara pertama. Dengan pencapaian ini, Duta GenRe Putri berhak mewakili Sulawesi Selatan dalam Pemilihan Duta GenRe Tingkat Nasional.
Piala penghargaan dan hadiah bagi para pemenang diserahkan langsung oleh Kepala BKKBN Perwakilan Sulawesi Selatan, Sodiqin. Momen penyerahan hadiah ini menjadi puncak dari rangkaian kegiatan yang penuh semangat dan kreativitas dari para peserta.
Kepala Dinas Pengendalian Penduduk dan Keluarga Berencana (DPPKB) Parepare, Amarun Agung Hamka, mengungkapkan rasa syukur dan terima kasihnya atas prestasi yang diraih oleh para Duta GenRe Parepare.
“Kami bersyukur dan tentunya sangat berterima kasih kepada BKKBN Sulawesi Selatan. Ini merupakan bentuk apresiasi yang sangat membanggakan bagi Duta GenRe kami,” ujar Hamka.
Ajang Apresiasi Duta dan Jambore Ajang Kreativitas Generasi Berencana ini merupakan salah satu upaya BKKBN dalam mendorong generasi muda untuk aktif dan kreatif dalam mengampanyekan program-program kependudukan dan keluarga berencana.
Prestasi yang diraih oleh Duta GenRe Parepare menunjukkan komitmen dan dedikasi mereka dalam mengemban tugas tersebut.
Dengan kemenangan ini, diharapkan para Duta GenRe Parepare semakin termotivasi untuk terus berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat mengenai pentingnya perencanaan keluarga dan kesehatan reproduksi.
