Parepare – Dinas Peternakan, Kelautan dan Perikanan (PKP) Kota Parepare menggelar kegiatan “Launching Pasar Tani” yang bertujuan untuk mewadahi pemasaran hasil pertanian, peternakan, dan perikanan dari anggota kelompok tani, peternak, nelayan, serta masyarakat umum.
Acara ini juga menampilkan berbagai produk olahan hasil pertanian, peternakan, dan perikanan.Kegiatan ini berlangsung di halaman Kantor PKP Kota Parepare, Jl. Gelora Mandiri, Kelurahan Lompoe, Kecamatan Bacukiki pada Kamis (18/7/24).
Acara tersebut dihadiri oleh Pj Wali Kota Parepare, Akbar Ali, yang sekaligus membuka secara resmi Launching Pasar Tani ini. Dalam sambutannya, Akbar Ali menyampaikan apresiasi yang tinggi kepada Dinas PKP Kota Parepare atas inisiatif ini.
“Pasar Tani ini diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi bagi para petani, peternak, dan nelayan lokal untuk memasarkan hasil panen mereka secara lebih luas dan menguntungkan. Ini juga sebagai upaya kita dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat melalui pemberdayaan ekonomi lokal,” ujarnya.
Kegiatan Launching Pasar Tani ini mendapat sambutan positif dari masyarakat dan pelaku usaha lokal. Banyak yang berharap acara ini dapat rutin dilaksanakan sebagai sarana untuk mempertemukan produsen dan konsumen secara langsung, sehingga harga jual produk bisa lebih kompetitif dan menguntungkan semua pihak.
Pasar Tani Parepare diharapkan dapat menjadi model bagi daerah lain dalam upaya memperkuat perekonomian lokal dan mendukung ketahanan pangan daerah. Dengan adanya Pasar Tani, masyarakat Parepare kini memiliki akses yang lebih mudah untuk mendapatkan produk-produk pertanian, peternakan, dan perikanan yang segar dan berkualitas.
Hal ini tentu saja akan berdampak positif bagi peningkatan gizi dan kesehatan masyarakat setempat.Turut hadir dalam acara ini sejumlah pejabat daerah, tokoh masyarakat, serta perwakilan dari berbagai kelompok tani dan nelayan.
Mereka berharap, dengan adanya dukungan dari pemerintah, Pasar Tani dapat terus berkembang dan memberikan manfaat yang maksimal bagi seluruh lapisan masyarakat.
