Notifedia.com, Makassar – Sebanyak 40 orang diamankan oleh Detasemen Intelijen Kodam XIV/Hasanuddin (DenIntelDam XIV/HSN) di Kabupaten Sidenreng Rappang (Sidrap), Sulawesi Selatan, terkait dugaan keterlibatan mereka dalam praktik penipuan online yang dikenal dengan istilah Sobis. Sabtu, (26/4/25).
Penangkapan tersebut kini telah dilimpahkan ke Kepolisian Daerah Sulawesi Selatan (Polda Sulsel) untuk proses hukum lebih lanjut.
Kabid Humas Polda Sulsel, Kombes Pol Didik Supranoto, membenarkan hal tersebut dalam keterangannya kepada awak media.
“Ke-40 orang tersebut saat ini masih berada di Polda Sulsel dan sedang dalam tahap penyelidikan oleh Direktorat Kriminal Khusus (Krimsus),” ujar Kombes Didik.
Lebih lanjut, ia menjelaskan bahwa pihak kepolisian memiliki waktu 1×24 jam sejak pelimpahan untuk menentukan langkah hukum selanjutnya.
Jika dalam kurun waktu tersebut tidak ada pelapor yang datang, maka para terduga akan dibebaskan sesuai prosedur hukum yang berlaku.
“Kita punya waktu 1×24 jam terhitung sejak pelimpahan ke Polda Sulsel. Jika tidak ada pelapor yang datang, maka akan kami lepaskan,” tegasnya.
Kasus ini menjadi sorotan publik karena maraknya praktik penipuan daring di berbagai wilayah, dengan metode yang terus berkembang dan menimbulkan kerugian besar di masyarakat.
Pihak kepolisian mengimbau masyarakat yang merasa menjadi korban penipuan dengan modus serupa agar segera melapor.
Polda Sulsel saat ini masih terus mendalami keterlibatan masing-masing individu yang diamankan, serta mengumpulkan bukti-bukti pendukung lainnya untuk menindaklanjuti kasus ini secara hukum.
