Notifedia.com, PAREPARE – Wali Kota Parepare, Tasming Hamid, secara resmi melepas kontingen Kafilah Seleksi Tilawatil Qur’an dan Hadits (STQH) Kota Parepare yang akan berlaga pada STQH XXIII Tingkat Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan Tahun 2025 di Kabupaten Luwu Utara. Pelepasan berlangsung di Auditorium BJ Habibie, Rumah Jabatan Wali Kota Parepare, Sabtu (12/4/2025).
Dalam sambutannya, Wali Kota Tasming Hamid menyampaikan rasa bangga dan apresiasi tinggi kepada para peserta dan pelatih yang telah mempersiapkan diri dengan maksimal. Ia menilai keikutsertaan dalam STQH bukan sekadar perlombaan, tetapi juga bagian dari pembinaan generasi Qur’ani yang menjadi prioritas dalam pembangunan karakter di Kota Parepare.
“Kami bangga atas semangat dan dedikasi seluruh kafilah. Ini bukan hanya soal prestasi, tapi juga wujud komitmen kita dalam mencetak generasi yang cinta Al-Qur’an dan berakhlak mulia. Kalau tahun lalu kita masuk 10 besar, tahun ini kami targetkan Parepare bisa menembus lima besar,” tegas Tasming Hamid.
Tasming Hamid juga berharap, para peserta dapat menjaga semangat, kekompakan, dan menjadi duta Parepare yang membawa nama baik kota di tingkat provinsi.
“Kalian adalah wajah Parepare. Tampilkan yang terbaik, jaga adab, dan terus berusaha dengan niat tulus karena Allah SWT,” pesan Tasming.
Sementara itu, Ketua Kafilah STQH Kota Parepare, Muhammad Isla, mengatakan keikutsertaan dalam ajang ini bertujuan mempererat silaturahmi antar-kafilah dari berbagai daerah di Sulawesi Selatan, selain tentunya untuk menorehkan prestasi.
“STQH ini bukan hanya ajang lomba, tapi juga momen memperkuat ukhuwah islamiyah antar-kafilah. Kami siap tampil maksimal dan membawa harum nama Kota Parepare,” ujar Isla
