Parepare – Kantor Kesyahbandaran dan Otoritas Pelabuhan (KSOP) Kelas III Parepare menggelar Program Padat Karya Tahun Anggaran 2024.
Kegiatan ini berlangsung di halaman Kantor KSOP Kelas III Parepare pada Senin, 5 Juli 2024, dengan tema “Peran Serta Direktorat Jendral Perhubungan Laut Dalam Rangka Peningkatan Perekonomian Masyarakat Melalui Kegiatan Padat Karya.”
Kepala Kantor KSOP Kelas III Parepare, Syaiful Horry menjelaskan bahwa program ini sudah menjadi program ke empat kalinya serta merupakan bagian dari upaya untuk meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat setempat melalui kegiatan yang melibatkan banyak tenaga kerja.
“Kami berharap program ini dapat memberikan manfaat langsung kepada masyarakat, terutama dalam menciptakan lapangan kerja dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan ekonomi,” ujar Syaiful.
Lebih lanjut, Syaiful menambahkan bahwa kegiatan padat karya ini akan melibatkan berbagai pekerjaan yang memerlukan tenaga kerja banyak, seperti perbaikan infrastruktur pelabuhan, pembersihan area pelabuhan, dan kegiatan lainnya yang mendukung operasional pelabuhan.
“Dengan melibatkan masyarakat lokal, khususnya Warga Cappa Ujung Kelurahan Ujung Sabbang Kota Parepare serta warga Marabombang Suppa Pinrang kami juga berharap dapat meningkatkan keterampilan dan kompetensi mereka di bidang terkait,” tambahnya.
Program Padat Karya ini diharapkan dapat menjadi contoh bagi instansi lain dalam mendukung program pemerintah untuk meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat melalui kegiatan yang produktif dan bermanfaat.
Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga diharapkan dapat mempererat hubungan antara pemerintah dan masyarakat setempat, sehingga tercipta kerjasama yang lebih baik di masa depan.
