Notifedia.com, Maros – Momen mudik lebaran menjadi kisah heroik bagi seorang prajurit TNI Angkatan Laut dari Satuan Patroli (Satrol) Lantamal VI. Saat tengah menempuh perjalanan pulang ke kampung halaman menggunakan perahu tradisional, Kelasi Satu Zulkifli justru menjadi penyelamat seorang nelayan muda yang terapung-apung di laut akibat perahunya bocor.
Peristiwa ini terjadi di perairan sekitar Gusung Lajolo, sekitar 6 mil laut dari kawasan wisata Lantebung, Kabupaten Maros, Sulawesi Selatan. Saat itu, Zulkifli sedang dalam perjalanan menuju kampung halamannya di Desa Bontomatenne dengan menempuh jalur laut, yang menurutnya lebih cepat dibandingkan jalur darat. Jum,at (11/4/24).
“Ketika sedang dalam perjalanan, saya melihat seorang nelayan melambaikan tangan meminta tolong. Ternyata perahunya bocor saat hendak memasang pukat jaring,” ujar Zulkifli.
Korban diketahui bernama Risal (17), seorang nelayan muda asal Bonto Biraeng, Kecamatan Marusu. Dalam upaya menyelamatkan diri, Risal sempat membalikkan perahunya agar bisa tetap mengapung sambil menunggu pertolongan.
Melihat situasi tersebut, tanpa ragu Zulkifli segera mengarahkan perahunya dan terjun ke laut. Menyadari tak ada pelampung di sekitar, ia dengan sigap melepas seragam PDL (Pakaian Dinas Lapangan) miliknya, mengembungkannya, lalu memberikannya kepada Risal sebagai pelampung darurat.
“Setelah berhasil menarik korban ke atas perahu, saya memberikan pertolongan pertama sebisanya, lalu menarik perahunya yang bocor ke daratan agar bisa mendapatkan bantuan medis lebih lanjut,” tambah Zulkifli.
Aksi sigap dan penuh kepahlawanan dari prajurit TNI AL ini mendapat apresiasi dari masyarakat setempat, terutama karena dilakukan di tengah perjalanan mudik yang semestinya menjadi momen pribadi.
Zulkifli membuktikan bahwa semangat pengabdian kepada rakyat tetap menyala kapan pun dan di mana pun, bahkan saat mengenakan pakaian sipil dan berada di luar jam dinas.
