Notifedia.com, Takalar – Kepala Staf Angkatan Laut (Kasal) Laksamana TNI Dr. Muhammad Ali melakukan peninjauan langsung terhadap program ketahanan pangan TNI Angkatan Laut di Desa Punaga, Kecamatan Mangarabombang, Kabupaten Takalar, Sulawesi Selatan, pada Sabtu (19/04/2025).
Kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari implementasi program Asta Cita Presiden Republik Indonesia Prabowo Subianto dalam memperkuat sistem pertahanan negara dan mendorong kemandirian bangsa melalui swasembada pangan.
Program ketahanan pangan ini mengacu pada Peraturan Presiden No. 81 Tahun 2024 yang mengamanatkan pemanfaatan sumber daya lokal untuk ketahanan pangan nasional.
Dalam pelaksanaannya, Lantamal VI Makassar membina berbagai program, termasuk pengembangan kebun kedelai seluas 2.000 meter persegi serta budidaya rumput laut.
Pada kesempatan tersebut, Kasal turut menanam bibit kedelai dan memanen hasil rumput laut.
Selain fokus pada sektor pertanian dan perikanan, TNI AL juga memberikan pelayanan kesehatan gratis bagi masyarakat sekitar.
Pelayanan ini mencakup pemeriksaan kesehatan umum dan gigi, dengan dukungan tenaga medis sebanyak 5 dokter umum, 2 dokter gigi, dan 5 bintara kesehatan. Pelayanan ini ditargetkan menjangkau hingga 550 warga.
Kedelai ditetapkan sebagai komoditas unggulan TNI AL dalam mendukung ketahanan pangan nasional.
Tujuannya adalah meningkatkan produksi dalam negeri, mengurangi ketergantungan terhadap impor, dan memperkuat ketahanan pangan melalui optimalisasi lahan, pendampingan kepada petani, serta pengamanan distribusi hasil panen.
Sebagai bentuk kepedulian lingkungan, Kasal menyerahkan secara simbolis 1.000 bibit mangrove untuk ditanam di Desa Laikang.
Tak hanya itu, TNI AL juga membagikan 1.000 paket sembako serta 1.000 paket makan bergizi gratis guna mendukung program pemerintah dalam upaya pencegahan stunting.
Dalam kegiatan tersebut, Kasal juga menerima hibah tanah dari Kepala Desa Punaga yang rencananya akan digunakan untuk pembangunan Pos TNI AL Takalar.
Kehadiran pos ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan keamanan, mendukung pembangunan daerah, serta mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi masyarakat sekitar.
Kegiatan ini menjadi bukti nyata pengabdian dan kepedulian TNI AL dalam mendukung program ketahanan pangan nasional sekaligus meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat, khususnya di wilayah Kabupaten Takalar.
Turut hadir dalam kegiatan ini Pangkoarmada RI, Kabaharkam Polri, Gubernur Sulsel, Kabaznas, Pangkoarmada II, Asintel Kasal, Aspotmar Kasal, Asops Kasal, Pangdam XIV Hasanuddin, Kapolda Sulsel, Kaskopsud II, Kadispotmaral, Kadisfaslanal, Kadispenal, Danlantamal VI Makassar, KaMaporina, Bupati Takalar, Bupati Selayar, Dansatdik 2, Dansatlinlamil 3, Lo Kodam XIV Hasanuddin, Kaladokgi Yos Sudarso, serta unsur Forkopimda Kabupaten Takalar dan undangan lainnya.
