PAREPARE – Wali Kota Parepare, Tasming Hamid, menerima audiensi Forum Kerukunan Umat Beragama (FKUB) di Komplek Rumah Jabatan Wali Kota pada Kamis (13/3/2023). Dalam pertemuan tersebut, Tasming menyampaikan apresiasi atas peran FKUB dalam menjaga keharmonisan antarumat beragama di Parepare.
“Tentu kita apresiasi,” ujar Tasming Hamid yang akrab disapa TSM. Ia menilai FKUB memiliki peran strategis dalam menciptakan suasana damai dan kondusif di tengah keberagaman masyarakat.
Sebagai Ketua Partai NasDem Parepare, Tasming juga menekankan pentingnya menjaga silaturahmi antarumat beragama, terutama di bulan suci Ramadan. Ia berharap FKUB terus berperan aktif dalam mempererat persaudaraan serta mengedukasi masyarakat tentang pentingnya toleransi dan kebersamaan.
“Momentum Ramadan ini menjadi pengingat bagi kita semua untuk terus memperkuat kebersamaan dan menjaga kedamaian di tengah perbedaan,” tambahnya.
Audiensi ini menjadi salah satu bentuk sinergi antara pemerintah dan FKUB dalam mewujudkan Parepare sebagai kota yang rukun dan harmonis. Dengan komunikasi yang baik antara berbagai elemen masyarakat, diharapkan kota ini tetap menjadi contoh dalam menjaga keberagaman dan persatuan.
