Notifedia.com – Makassar – Tim Resmob Polda Sulawesi Selatan menangkap seorang pria berinisial MU (33), yang memproduksi dan menjual senjata tajam jenis busur panah demi bisa membeli sabu.
Aksi nekat ini terbongkar saat pelaku kedapatan membawa delapan busur panah lengkap dengan ketapel di kawasan Jalan Gunung Bawakaraeng, Kecamatan Bontoala, Makassar, Kamis malam (15/5).
Setelah diamankan, polisi melakukan interogasi singkat dan mendapati pengakuan bahwa busur panah tersebut dibuat sendiri oleh pelaku untuk dijual. Polisi pun langsung bergerak menuju rumah MU yang tak jauh dari lokasi penangkapan.
Saat dilakukan penggeledahan, petugas menemukan alat-alat perkakas untuk memproduksi busur serta sisa paket sabu yang baru saja dikonsumsi oleh pelaku.
“Pelaku membuat delapan busur dan satu ketapel, lalu dijual seharga Rp150 ribu. Uangnya digunakan untuk beli sabu,” kata Panit Resmob Polda Sulsel, Ipda Arkam Rasjid, Jumat (16/5).
Dari penggeledahan tersebut, polisi mengamankan:
- 8 unit busur panah
- 1 ketapel
- Perkakas produksi busur
- Sisa sabu dan alat hisap
Seluruh barang bukti berikut pelaku kini diamankan di Posko Resmob Polda Sulsel untuk penyidikan lebih lanjut.
Menurut Ipda Arkam, penangkapan ini menjadi bagian dari upaya polisi memberantas kejahatan jalanan dan penyalahgunaan narkoba, terutama karena busur panah kerap digunakan dalam aksi tawuran yang meresahkan warga Makassar.
Pihak kepolisian juga mengimbau masyarakat untuk melapor jika melihat aktivitas mencurigakan di lingkungan sekitar, khususnya terkait peredaran senjata tajam dan narkotika.
