Notifedia.com, JAKARTA – Bupati Sidenreng Rappang (Sidrap), H. Syaharuddin Alrif, tampil sebagai narasumber dalam program Nation Hub CNBC Indonesia, Jumat (18/7/2025) pukul 18.15 WIB.
Dalam kapasitasnya sebagai Wakil Ketua Umum Asosiasi Pemerintah Kabupaten Seluruh Indonesia (Apkasi) Koordinator Bidang Pangan, Syaharuddin membahas kesiapan daerah dalam mendukung program nasional lumbung pangan serta makan bergizi gratis (MBG) yang dicanangkan Presiden Prabowo Subianto.
“Sidrap menyambut baik program swasembada pangan nasional. Sebagai dukungan nyata, jika dulu petani Sidrap menanam padi dua kali setahun, kini menerapkan program IP 300 atau tiga kali setahun, dengan target produksi satu juta ton gabah per tahun,” ungkap Syaharuddin dalam acara yang disiarkan langsung tersebut.
Ia menjelaskan sejumlah faktor penunjang untuk mencapai target itu, di antaranya luas areal sawah 62 ribu hektare, ketersediaan jaringan irigasi, benih, pupuk, obat-obatan, pestisida, hingga sistem pengendalian hama.
“Selain itu, pasokan BBM pertanian, mekanisasi, hingga industrialisasi pertanian juga sangat mendukung. Sidrap memiliki 185 pabrik penggilingan padi yang siap dioptimalkan,” tambahnya.
Meski demikian, Syaharuddin menilai peningkatan infrastruktur, khususnya jalan tani, masih sangat dibutuhkan untuk memperlancar distribusi dan mempercepat produksi pertanian.
“Ini akan terus kami komunikasikan dengan pemerintah pusat,” tegasnya.
Terkait program makan bergizi gratis, Syaharuddin menyatakan Sidrap siap mendukung penuh dengan mengoptimalkan 15 titik pelaksanaan MBG.
“Pemerintah dan masyarakat Sidrap dengan senang hati menangkap peluang dari program ini,” ucapnya.
Ia menambahkan, program MBG membutuhkan berbagai komoditas seperti beras, telur, daging, dan sayur-sayuran yang banyak tersedia di Sidrap.
“Kami bahkan siap menyuplai ke daerah lain. Saat ini Sidrap telah menjalin kerja sama pemenuhan pangan antardaerah, termasuk dengan Kota Tomohon dan Tarakan,” jelasnya.
