Kehadiran mereka didampingi oleh Wakil Wali Kota Parepare, Hermanto dan istri, Sri Tanty Mariani Nasrah.
Acara bergengsi tersebut menjadi momen istimewa yang mempertemukan para wali kota dari seluruh Indonesia dalam suasana hangat dan penuh keakraban. Diselenggarakan di halaman Balai Kota Surabaya, Gala Dinner ini menjadi bagian dari rangkaian Munas VII APEKSI yang berlangsung dari tanggal 6 hingga 10 Mei 2025.
Selain sebagai ajang silaturahmi antar kepala daerah, Gala Dinner ini juga dirangkaikan dengan pertukaran cenderamata antar wali kota, termasuk dari Wali Kota Parepare kepada Wali Kota Surabaya, Eri Cahyadi, selaku tuan rumah penyelenggara Munas tahun ini. Pertukaran cenderamata ini menjadi simbol saling menghargai dan memperkuat kerja sama antar pemerintah kota.
Wali Kota Parepare, Tasming Hamid, mengapresiasi penyelenggaraan Gala Dinner yang menurutnya mampu membangun suasana keakraban dan mempererat jejaring antar pemerintah kota.
