Bukan sekadar kunjungan, acara ini menjadi wadah komunikasi dua arah antara pemerintah daerah dan para santri.
Turut mendampingi Bupati, sejumlah pejabat daerah seperti Kepala Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Faizal Sehuddin, Kepala Dinas Pengendalian Penduduk dan KB sekaligus Ketua Yayasan Pesantren Syahrul Mubarak, Kepala Pondok Budiman Fahrezzy, serta Lurah Lautang Benteng Surianto.
Dalam kesempatan itu, Syaharuddin Alrif menegaskan komitmennya dalam mendukung perkembangan pesantren di Sidrap.
“Kami ingin menjadikan Sidrap sebagai lumbung penghafal Al-Qur’an, penghafal hadist, dan lumbung ulama di Indonesia. Oleh karena itu, perhatian terhadap santri dan pesantren harus menjadi prioritas,” ujarnya dengan penuh semangat.
Para santri pun tidak melewatkan kesempatan ini. Salah satu santri mengajukan pertanyaan seputar dukungan pemerintah dalam penyediaan fasilitas, sarana belajar, serta peluang beasiswa bagi para penghafal Al-Qur’an.
Menanggapi hal tersebut, Bupati Syaharuddin menegaskan bahwa pemerintah daerah berkomitmen untuk terus memperkuat peran pesantren.
“Kami akan memperbesar dukungan terhadap pesantren, baik dari segi moral maupun fasilitas. Melalui Dinas Pendidikan dan jalur Kementerian Agama, kita akan mengupayakan berbagai bentuk bantuan,” jelasnya.
Tak hanya berdialog, Bupati juga menyempatkan diri meninjau kamar santri. Ia memberikan pesan penting kepada para penghuni pondok untuk selalu menjaga kebersihan dan kerapihan lingkungan pesantren.
“Kenyamanan adalah kunci dalam menuntut ilmu. Mari kita jaga bersama kebersihan lingkungan ini,” pesannya.
Dialog interaktif ini memberikan harapan baru bagi para santri. Dukungan nyata dari pemerintah diharapkan mampu mempercepat terwujudnya Sidrap sebagai pusat pendidikan Islam yang melahirkan generasi penghafal Al-Qur’an dan ulama masa depan.
Acara pun ditutup dengan doa bersama, mengiringi harapan agar Sidrap semakin maju dengan keberkahan ilmu dan akhlak generasi penerusnya.
